I can't remember who said it at the time - but SOMEONE on the radio previewing the 2004 NFL draft was saying that of the 3 best QBs in the draft (Manning, Rivers and Roethlisberger), Roethlisberger will end up having the best career.
Roethlisberger gets a lot of credit taken away from him because he played on a run-first team early in his career. Then they were giving credit to the defense. Now their defense is iffy, and their running game isn't leading them. Roethlisberger is the toughest QB in the game today, and he's the leader of the Steelers.

I wish I could have more respect for him as a person.

Someone in my league doesn't seem to know how to plan for bye weeks and dropped DeShawn Jackson. You drop your kicker if you have no one terrible enough to drop on your bench, not someone who would be perfect for my flex or WR2 spot when his bye is over.

Now if only I didn't have a mediocre waiver claim number.

I have a pretty complex trade agreement set up with a couple of people for bye weeks. It involves several conditions, some of which might not happen. I think I need a flowchart.

Or you can drop one defense if you have two like I do. Speaking of defense, I took Miami's defense in my fantasy league from waivers. I think Dude Perfect forgot the fantasy football stereotype that often applies to me for as long as I can remember playing fantasy football...Mr. Waiver who's always adding and dropping players constantly!

My last two seasons have been saved by dumpster diving in the waivers. I've spent a lot of time adding and dropping the Ravens, Rams, and Browns this year. So far only Forsett has been worth sticking around. And Ingram, but I got him through manipulation...

So romo will be playing this weekend. He sure didn't look estatic about it during his press conf :) This really looks like they pushing him into playing. JJ looking at this as 'this is our first real great season in ages... we can't let it slide away'.

And the ravens lose their top db smith for the rest of the season. The injuries to the o line and secondary doomed us. We had no safeties worth a poop to start with... And marginal DBS... Now we have one 75% player in Webb surrounded by scrubs. Doubt well even see a wild card now.

I'm kind of surprised everyone picked the Bengals this week. I am 50/50 on the game, but chose the Bengals because they're at home. But I wouldn't be surprised if the Browns won.

Well, looks like I should have changed my pick. But I've been sticking to my rule of not changing picks unless something major changes, especially right before games. Overall that rule has done me well, though.

The Browns have so many injuries on offense, I really didn't think they had much of a chance tonight. They looked good, but I'm shocked at how bad the Bengals looked. Dalton was a train wreck tonight.

I was expecting my decision of benching Gore for Terrance West to blow up in my face, but 94 yards and a messy TD made it worth it. I'm ready for Fred Jackson to come back for my flex position though.

Also someone in my league dropped DeShawn Jackson for Alfred Blue shortly after waivers cleared on Wednesday. I find it a little suspicious now that I think about it. Arian Foster is expected to be ready to play after their bye so I don't see any way Blue would give him better numbers than Jackson.

I picked up Terrance West a half hour before last night's game. What can I say? I'm happy with the 15 plus points he got me.
