This game has been a disaster. Defense has done well, but the offense is disastrous. 7 punts! No rush game, and dropped balls galore. Hope things can turn around in the second half

What a waste of time. With a chance to crawl back into the division race with Romo and Foles injuries, they play horrible football. Just embarrassing

The Packers have activated JC Tretter, the center who was expected to start week 1 this season before being injured in the preseason. He was placed on IR with a designation to return. Since then, rookie Corey Linsley has done very well. In order to activate Tretter, the Packers released former 1st round pick Derek Sherrod (OT). Sherrod was injured for most of his time in Green Bay, missing around a year and a half with a severely broken leg.

They've given up! What a bunch of quitters! I want heads to roll tomorrow! I'm more angry than Mike Francesa was last week. Season is over! Shut it down!
At least you won the point in pick 'ems and were almost dead on with the predicted score.

I simply don't understand what is wrong with the Giants and injuries. Nearly every season they're decimated. How do 3 (Amukamara, McBride, Thurmond) of your top 4 cornerbacks all fall on IR in a single season, and the fourth (Cromartie) has been battling injuries for weeks! Now one of our starting offensive lineman is done for the year, Geoff Schwartz hasn't played a single game this season, Victor Cruz and Jerrel Jernigan were our top slot receivers and they're both on IR, we haven't won a game since week 5 which is the last time starting RB Rashad Jennings played, and team captain Jon Beason is on IR too! It seems like everyone but Manning has had injury woes this year. No excuses though, this team is just flat out bad.

It really is every season. Every team gets injuries but they seem to get it worse than others - every year. It's not conditioning either. It's just horrible luck.

Is anyone else outraged that Phillip Rivers decided to throw up a goose egg in Miami, got me ZERO points!!!

I still won, but that was rude on his part!
He gave me negative points in my 12 man league. I just changed the name of that one to Fantasy Punching Bag and I'm not going to bother with it anymore. My 10 man league team is at least salvageable. I only lost because of Brady and Edelman. I would have beat everyone else in the league if I played them.

I'm still in 3rd in pick em and I lost in fantasy this week. So there's the glass empty argument from my side.

With all these injuries every year, I'd add Jerry Palmeiri, the strength and conditioning coach, to the list of coaches that need to be fired. He's been with Coughlin from the beginning. A great coach is never afraid to pull the trigger as soon as possible. Coughlin is too loyal to his under-performing coaching staff (i.e. Kevin Gilbride) and for that reason, he needs to get the pink slip in my book this season.

To be honest, none of that surprises me. The most surprising aspect would be the Cardinals having the best record with Drew Stanton in. I thought the Browns could be potentially a playoff team. The Cardinals I thought would be good, just not this good. And Roethlisberger is one of the most underrated QBs of his time.

I can't remember who said it at the time - but SOMEONE on the radio previewing the 2004 NFL draft was saying that of the 3 best QBs in the draft (Manning, Rivers and Roethlisberger), Roethlisberger will end up having the best career.
