Aaron Rodgers really messing with my fantasy team due to his poor game. Thank god Hakeem Nicks, Victor Cruz and Pierre Garçon all caught TD's. Plus Adam Vinatieri had a good game for a kicker

Lions aren't a bad team. They have a great offense but it's kinda surprising Rodgers and Lacy couldn't do anything against the Lions defense

Detroit's got a really good run defense. It's their secondary that has some question marks. But today, they proved the critics wrong. Ugh, my fantasy opponent has Andrew Luck and not surprisingly, lit up Jacksonville. Here comes my first loss of the season in fantasy.....

Yup my opponent has Luck too. At least I had Nicks who caught one of his TD passes

The Packers had a very off day today. The defense played very well against that high-powered Detroit offense. It was an odd game, one where our offense just didn't click. The big momentum changer was the safety. Detroit has a very underrated team, and anyone who thinks they're a weak team is going on how they were playing a few seasons ago. They have had the talent to win the NFC North ever since they made the playoffs a couple years ago. And now they have the head coach who puts a better focus on the team. Detroit could be scary.

No, they should have a great offense, but they never will, because the Lions are a joke. How many points did the Lions put up today at home??? Took them until the 4th quarter, to score a TD, doesn't strike me as a great offense. Any team with Megatron has no excuse to score ZERO pass TD's in any game. Calvin Johnson is the only bright light on that team and always has been. The Defense, mainly Suh will soon implode and they'll finish 9-7 at best. Great offense, no way.

Detroit could have been scary in 2010, 2011(bounced first round), 2012 and 2013... but it didn't happen, and it won't happen again this year. Some teams are judged by their past, and the Lions are the poster boys of not living up to potential.

I disagree.

Get ready for stories about Sherman being exposed, giving up what could be the play that lost Seattle the game.

I just realized that I switched my pick from the Browns to the Ravens the other night and I actually got it right!
Good call. I really thought the Browns would win. They don't let the Ravens block that FG and they would have. Oh well, I'm still just glad they look like an actual football team! :)

I'm finding it difficult to pinpoint several teams this year. There are so many who have just been up and down. I think the reason for this has already been stated in this thread, and I believe it's because the lack of practices and preseason participation by starters. It takes time to get used to playing a full game, and the teams aren't yet molded together.

The teams I'm finding hard to pinpoint are: Buffalo, New England, New York (Jets), Baltimore, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Dallas, Philly, Washington, Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, Atlanta, Carolina, New Orleans, Arizona, San Francisco, and Seattle.

The lack of really any dominant teams this year is somewhat puzzling. So far Cincinnati has looked the most dominating.

You just named 21 of the 32 teams in the league :)
