I thought having Drew Brees as my QB would guarantee me winning in that fantasy slot. What the heck is happening on that game? Its not airing in my region.

What an athletic pick 6 by Jason Pierre Paul. Giants lead Green Bay 27-13 with 10 mins left. This defense has been carrying the offense for weeks now, I hope the offense can finish strong and gain some momentum for next week

Scott Tolzien had some very good plays, but the three interceptions were the downfall for the Packers. I only blame Tolzien for two INTs. That one by JPP was just a great play by him.

I'm getting nervous about the playoffs for Green Bay. We are 5-5, the Bears and Lions are 6-4. The biggest break we got today was the Lions losing. I doubt Green Bay would get a wild card spot because the 49ers likely have one seed wrapped up, and the Panthers are 6-3, facing the Patriots tomorrow night. My hope is the Saints win tonight, and the Saints beat the Panthers twice in December. It's looking like the Eagles are the hot team in the NFC East, and I hope they win their division because they would have a tie-breaker over us for a wild card spot. And the 49ers have a tie-breaker over us, too. If the Packers win their remaining 3 divisional games, along with going 10-6, they win the NFC North. Huge game against Minnesota next week - then hopefully Rodgers is back for Detroit on Thanksgiving. It's crunch time in Green Bay.

Still can't belive the Giants won 4 in a row after an atrocious start. Wow. HUGE game next week vs the Cowboys. A win would make us just one game out of firs behind Philadelphia. It won't get any easier from their though, as the Eagles have a more manageable schedule, while we have to travel to San Diego and we have 2 games vs the Lions and Seahawks down the road. If our defense keeps playing like this we have a shot. Hopefully our offense can build on this an get better. Our passing game was decent for the first time in a long time

Going up against some really good QBs out there. Romo, Rivers, Stafford, RG3 twice and Wilson. They'll all be much better than what the Giants faced the last 4 games. Romo is known for being lights out in November (Not the case in December games though.), Stafford's got Megatron, Rivers has been up and down but he's by no means a dud at home. (fyi, the Chargers always seem to struggle on the road. Should've taken that into consideration in the Chargers-Fins pick :banghead:), RG3 is turning things around stats wise even though the Skins are 3-7 but they went on a run when they were 3-6 so you never know and Wilson is a game manager from what I've seen.

The fewer the turnovers, the better chance they have at winning. Turnovers seem to the downfall of both New York teams.

The Good News: Matt Ryan is once again throwing into HANDS and not over HEADS.
The Bad News: Unfortunately those hands were of the opposing team's defense.

:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Yeah the Bears have had that issue with Cutler. The backup quarterback even with the tornado winds yesterday did not throw the ball into the hands of defense. Still management swears Cutler is their guy to lead into the future. So I guess our future plans is not winning when he returns?

Some news bits:

- Scott Tolzien has been named the Packers start against the Vikings this weekend.

- Colts LB Erik Walden has been suspended for one game due to headbutting a helmetless player

- Bucs S Dashon Goldson has been suspended one game for a helmet-to-helmet hit

The Panthers have been my surprise team this year, for success that is. For failure, that would be the Falcons. I honestly thought the Falcons were atop the NFC with the Packers, Seahawks, and 49ers. Of course now I'd only say the Seahawks are the elite team from that group. The 49ers have been up and down, and I think the Packers would be there sans Aaron Rodgers injury.

I have noticed that the NFC playoff race is much tighter than the AFC race. If you look at the NFC race, the rankings can literally get flip-flopped in a week's time.

I also just wanted to point out an amazing statistic that was shown during the Packers/Giants game. The Packers in 340 games had a total of three starters. Then in the past three games, they have matched that. It's really an amazing stat, IMO.

Really controversial ending to last nights Panthers Patriots game. Brady was seen cursing at the ref after the call, and basically no media is talking about it. If it was Dez Bryant who did that, it would be all over the news probably.

Saw lots of it online :)

They got screwed. The pass wasn't catchable because the guy was impeded from getting to it. Raw deal
