Aaron Rodgers said he is pushing to play by Thanksgiving or sooner. He said he can sleep through the night, put on a shirt, and put socks on without any extreme amounts of pain, which would attest to the fact that he is healing well. Rodgers said he wants to play as soon as he can deal with the pain.

The Colts always seem to fall behind before making a comeback in all their games. That's not gonna work come playoff time. Seahawks do the same thing

This isn't NFL related, but it is football related.

I was at my college's game today and there was a play that struck me as odd. Our team scored a touchdown and was going for the extra point. The other team blocked the kick, got the ball, and ran it back down the field into the endzone. It was scored as two points. Anyone know why it was two points and not a touchdown? Thanks

School is division 3 if that makes a difference

Because that play in college is considered a "safety", and safeties are two points. In the NFL, you can not score any points by blocking an extra-point. However, if it was a field goal that was blocked, and not an extra point, then it would have been a touchdown. At least that's how I've always known it.

Thank you! First college football game; I normally only watch the NFL so that play left me scratching my head.

It's kinda complicated but after a touchdown has been scored, two options are kicking the PAT/Extra Point or going for two so if the opposition blocks a PAT or returns a 2 point conversion all the way to other end zone, the opposition gets two points because both sides have the chance to score at most 2 points in that situation. Even if a team botches an extra point, any side can still pick the loose ball and take it into the end zone for two. It's funny because in the NFL, the ball is "dead" after a blocked extra point and neither team can advance it. At least that's what this article reads. I don't know if they've changed the rules about that. HS rules vary by state.

There is a tornado warning in the Chicago area, and there are plans to move fans across the street to the Field Museum if needed. They would also put fans in the tunnels and concourse. Players would go to the locker room. In Buffalo, there are wind gusts of 65mph.

Really excited for the Giants Packers game later. Whenever they play it's usually always a good game to watch.
Also It's pouring in Chicago, looks like thatll be a sloppy game

I think that's probably right. We're NCAA division 3, so probably right. Thank you!
