Getting kind of concerned with the playoff outlook at this point. With the Cardinals victory, it really makes me look deeper into the race. These teams are all in the race for the wild card spots at this point. Packers, Bears, Cardinals, Panthers, 49ers, Eagles. The Packers have lost to the 49ers and Eagles, so that would give them the tiebreaker. The Packers have lost to the Bears once, and they play again on the final week of the season - could be a do or die situation. The Panthers are now 6-3 I believe, so they would have the 5th seed as of now, with the 49ers in the 6th seed at 6-3. Leaving the Packers out of the playoffs. I just hope Rodgers only misses at least two more weeks, and then he can come back and lead us to the playoffs. Stressful times.

The AFC is pretty jumbled up, too. For me, I assume the Chiefs, Pats, Broncos and probably the Colts will be definitely in the playoffs...barring any complete meltdowns or something. Anyone can win the AFC North but in terms of wild cards, I'm expecting the AFC West runner up to get it. (Probably Kansas City in my book.) The other? That's where it's really complicated. The Jets, Dolphins, the AFC North runner up, the Titans or even San Diego could make a run.

Packers have signed Matt Flynn. Wonder if he will get an opportunity to play this season
Unless Tolzien flops, I doubt it. McCarthy made it clear than Tolzien is the starter. The signing of Flynn could mean Wallace ends up on IR, since I doubt the Packers wants to use 4 roster spots on the QB position.

Another point - McCarthy was fired up in his post-game press conference. He has a fire burning in him, and I'm sure the entire team does too. I don't think the Giants have a cake-walk on their hands. But I could be wrong.

With the way the New York Giants are, they never have cakewalk games, not even when they won the Super Bowl in 2011-2012 season. In fact, no game in the NFL is a cupcake/throw away game.

I forgot to change my pick to the Bucs. I don't believe in the Dolphins, and I think these distractions have taken a huge toll on the team. Plus, I have this theory where if there are two winless teams going into one week, and one wins, then the next one will win that week, too.

They've got Atlanta next week and the Falcons haven't won a single game on the road this year so there's a chance there if they don't take care of business against Miami....

I've already picked my games for next week (there probably will be some changes), but I didn't know who to pick for that game. Still not sure who I'll finally pick.

For me, I'm agonizing Jets-Bills (Jets may have the better record but they have struggled on the road.), Oakland-Houston (Oakland's had road woes but they're not that bad.) and probably New England-Carolina (Carolina got a big win but could they suffer the big win hangover and lay an egg against New England. You never know...)

Former Packers tight end Mark Chmura told media that Jermichael Finley is going to have neck surgery this week. Chmura also gave his opinion and said he would be willing to bet Finley's playing career is over. Now take that with a grain of salt. Chmura is no doctor.

After losing Doug Martin for the season, the Bucs have lost Mike James (the replacement RB) for the season with a broken ankle.
