I'm still baffled about the Jets beating the Saints. Can't believe I'm saying this but Geno Smith is Tebow 2.0. The guy may have a crap accuracy and doesn't put the flashiest stats but goshdarnit, he's proven he can win in the clutch and has a good defense to support him. Sound familiar?
Rob Ryan has never beaten Rex. I'm going to say that. :p

PS- The Seahawks could tie the Buccaneers here with 1:57 left.

And the Seahawks get lucky again. On of these times when they actually play a good team, they won't be able to overcome these kind of deficits.

I think December is when we'll really see what Seattle is made of. They've got the Saints and 49ers in back to back weeks plus hopefully, the Giants will still be in it and give the Seahawks a challenge after the 49ers game. On paper, I think San Fran is better than Seattle.

I'm not sold on either Seattle or San Francisco. Honestly, I think it's a toss up between the Seahawks, Saints, 49ers, and Packers for the NFC, but there's always that one team that gets hot at the end.

It's a little late but what are your guys take on the whole Jonathan Martin situation in Miami? I mean, yes, there are cases of hazing in sports, mostly the rookies get the brunt of it but there is a point where it goes too far. I mean, I recall there was a viral video of JPP flipping Prince Amukamara in a cold tub of water last year which got so much negative publicity. For me, it was potential physical ramifications behind that hazing incident is what really got me riled up when I first heard that particular incident. (Though there were also negative ramifications emotionally and psychologically, too.) It was cleared up and fences were mended but I mean, put respect and proper treatment first, above all else! You're in the public spotlight more often than not so any negative act of senseless foolishness or arrogance just makes you like a dunce and a prick. (And I'm just putting it lightly!) Anyway, there was clearly something pushed Martin over the edge to leave the team and file a formal complaint like that.

This morning, Miami's PR department said the case of bullying was speculation but now, they think otherwise according to this from CBSSports.com: "We received notification today from Jonathan's representation about allegations of player misconduct," the Dolphins said in a statement. "We are taking these allegations very seriously and plan to review the matter further. We have also reached out to the NFL and asked them to conduct an objective and thorough review. As an organization, we are committed to a culture of team-first accountability and respect for one another."

How the Jets beat the Saints is still baffling me. They're such an inconsistent team. They beat the Patriots and Saints, but also have been destroyed by the Bengals and Titans. Very odd team

Yeah, all of the rookie "torture" needs to stop. Remember Tebow's hair cut? That would not be accepted in "normal" society, so why is it okay in the NFL?

Texans HC Gary Kubiak collapsed on the field and was taken to a local hospital via ambulance. Wade Phillips is taking over as HC for the second half.

So Richie Incognito was suspended by the Dolphins for his involvement in the Jonathan Martin incident. Not really surprised. The guy doesn't have a good track record off the field and supposedly the actions he took against Martin like sending offensive texts and being forced to fork over 15 grand for a trip to Las Vegas...Yeah, not things you want to do in the NFL. Hard to believe the guy was a Pro Bowler and won the "Good Guy" award for the team in 2012.

He was featured on NFL Network not too long ago where they looked back on his life and how he was a "dirty" player and (I believe, but not 100% sure) had drug problems. Then he changed, apparently, but now I guess he's back to his old ways. Either that, or he has been good at hiding it until now.

So excited for tonight. Packers/Bears should be a holiday around here. I'm in an area with lots of Packers and Bears fans. Wish I could be at the game tonight, but my friend (Bears fan) is going to be. I despise him today.

And it's official, Jack Del Rio will be the interim head coach in John Fox's absence. As for Gary Kubiak, he will remain in the hospital for at least 24 hours after his collapse. Wade Phillips will act as head coach until he returns.

Aaron Rodgers removed from the game with a shoulder injury. Hope he's ok, I need him for fantasy! Injuries have destroyed my fantasy team this year.
