Referees just spared the Giants on that call. Randle almost made a boneheaded mistake that could've ended our season

If he adds more GW drives on his resume, I'll obviously think very different and positively about him. Take away his 2011 season, he only has 20 GW drives in his career. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/gwd_career.htm
One of the knacks (actually the only one, really) of Aaron Rodgers is that he can't lead a 4th quarter comeback. The reality in that is he has lead his team to a late lead several times. It's the defense that breaks at the end.

The media seems to think one or two games makes or breaks a player. To be honest, I really haven't paid that much attention to Eli's career, and I'm just kind of going by popular opinion. I guess that's my first mistake.

its hard to deny the guy has a history of 4th quarter TDs... and has franchise records for the QB... has won two super bowls.. and was MVP both times too. Those aren't chance numbers... those are franchise ring of honor numbers...

Really surprised with Jon Beasons performance. Has been playing really well. Hopefully he can play like this for the rest of the season

Beason has been a Pro Bowl LB when he's been healthy.
That's the first thing I thought of when the Giants got him, but I thought he was out of his prime. Probably won't be making pro bowls anytime soon but as long as he plays just good, I'm happy.
Also strange how we were taking about Eli's GW drives. Giants down by 6 with 5:30 left. He has an opportunity to get one right now

I really hope he does. I don't care about my picks as long as it means the Bears lose.

Interception on a tipped pass. Pass was kinda high, but still should've been caught.
I guess it's just that type of season for my Giants. Game isn't over yet though

Another game the Giants had but blew. Story of the season. Turnovers, no pass rush, and inconsistent line play. Although I will say that the o-line was outstanding tonight and the run game was also much improved

I rest my case that Eli isn't clutch. And all I can say regarding tonight's game is to paraphrase Bill Callahan, "They've got to be the dumbest team in America in terms of playing the game. And I'm highly critical because of the way they give games away. They give 'em away! Period." Okay, maybe they weren't too dumb but the notion of giving games away I think holds true.

Still, Myers should've had that. If only they didn't snap that ball in time in time

I wouldn't even bother to call forth the play to begin with. Let the clock run down to 2 minutes where you can settle down a bit and think it over better. That's poor game management in my book. It was Dallas all over again as far as I'm concerned.

Adrian Peterson's son is in critical condition at a South Dakota hospital. It's unknown what the cause was, but he has substantial head injuries. There's speculation that is was abuse by his mother's boyfriend.

He has now been pronounced dead. Very sad situation.
