Quoth the raven, nevermore! :p

But I am concerned after this game. We lost 2 of our 4 receivers, Cobb looks like he tore his ACL, but that's just my casual observation. Jones' knee injury didn't look as bad. We were desperately missing them up until the 4th quarter when both teams got hot. Another area of concern is our redzone offense. We are a top 5 offense in both passing and rushing, but we can't score TDs. Now some of that was due to injuries today, but still. And then our defense played lights-out for 3 quarters, but had their signature 4th-quarter-road-collapse this week again. Our run defense looks dominant, though.

Remind me never to change my picks again. I'm 0-3 in my last three changes. I switched from PIT to NYJ because I didn't think the Steelers had much going for them. And well, you know the rest.

True... but it's never good to see you with only two WRs... and only one who can do anything. But I guess you understand that as a Pats fan.

I changed my pick from the Panthers to the Vikings thinking they had the motivation to win and give their star player something happy. Yeah that was dumb. Also I picked the Browns, which was dumber.

The Jets pick wasn't that bad. The Steelers were looking pretty bad going into this game and the Jets were looking mediocre. But then again they are the Jets. They are contractually required to disappoint when you expect something from them.

Is it just me or do sports writers and sports casters not understand what's actually happening in games? I just read on NFL.com that Rodgers had an uncharacteristically bad day, and was off target most of the day. The truth: his receivers dropped everything, or ran the wrong routes. He was on target most of the day.

In other news, Danny Amendola is injured - again.

No way - he was way off. He missed the target often, especially in the first half. His arm wasn't a threat most of the game. The pick by Jimmy Smith was because the throw by Rodgers was inside and shouldn't have been thrown.

The Raven's anemic offense killed them even tho the defense kept them in the game all the way through. The aggressive call to go on 4n1 was ok, but became a stink fish waiting to haunt them after they tried to fit that last play in the half. That was very uncharacteristic of the coaches.. usually when they are flat like that they are happen to just escape without doing any more damage.. and then they go and get stripped and the kicker gets his kick back.

The raven's safeties again killed us.. Elam gets a lot of 'looks promising' comments when all I see is his play being at fault in nearly every game breaking play. At least Ighedidbo got some big plays in.. but mostly in plays besides covering the middle of the field.

There was no way the ravens were going to win with the offense stinking it up so bad and killing ourselves with penalties for such long 3rd downs... but I couldn't believe how well the defense had kept the Packers off the scoreboard. The pass rush again showed huge promise with only 4 down guys. But with the defense playing like they had... all it would have taken is the offense to be half of itself and they could have won. But man... they have got to figure out they are doing when they don't have the TE or run game.

The pass that was picked was really the only throw that was 100% his fault. To most people, it looks like Rodgers missed a lot of his targets, but a lot of times Jarrett Boykin ran the wrong route, or he was just late. It's the lack of experience that Boykin has. He had 5 catches last season, and he had one today. He should improve with more reps, but today was brutal for Boykin. Nelson, Finley, and Jones all had drops, and those are just the ones I remember. I remember one pass where Rodgers didn't had time, threw off his back foot, and it came up short, but I don't recall any that it was 100% Rodgers' fault (aside from the pick).

We all picked the same team 8 times this week. 3 times there was only one different choice. No wonder we are all pretty equal this week.

The depth of the Packers will be tested this week. Here are some key injuries to the WR and LB positions for the Pack:
- Clay Matthews, out (broken thumb, kept him out of last week's game)
- Brad Jones, haven't heard anything, but am assuming out (hamstring, kept him out of last week's game)
- Robert Francois, out (torn ACL, missed last week- on IR)
- Nick Perry, out (unconfirmed broken foot, could miss several weeks)
(All were starters except for Francois, who was 2nd string)

- Randall Cobb, out (fractured leg, could miss 6 weeks)
- James Jones, could possibly play this week (unconfirmed PCL sprain)
(We currently have two WRs on out 53 man roster. One WR on out practice squad. One WR signed to our PS today).

Could be a rough stretch without several impact players. Matthews and Cobb are two huge playmakers. Jones seems to have an amazing game every other week. Perry has put together two MVP caliber games prior to getting injured. Good thing the running game is becoming a factor for this team.
