Andre Brown, left the game with a fractured leg. The depth of my G-men is taking a beating! :banghead: If you drafted Andre Brown in fantasy, you may want to drop him now.....
Yep this sucked. I'm nervous for this season. Our best defensive play maker out and one of our key offensive guys out. But whenever their is doubt surrounding the Giants, it seems like they make a run...

Well, the time has come for several NFL careers to end. By Saturday afternoon, teams have to go from 75 players to 53. Teams will establish their 8-man practice squads on Sunday after players clear waivers, and then coaches will 100% shift their focus to the regular season! I'm so ready for meaningful games.

He played well last night, throwing two TD passes, so I really have no clue. He's been up and down this preseason, but the Patriots typically only keep two QBs on their roster. I'd imagine Ryan Mallett has the edge over Tebow there, but I have no idea.

Mallett definitely has the edge, but Kraft has said he likes Tebow. Belichick is hard to read sometimes (well, often), but I don't think he's too enamored with him, despite last night's performance. He has a lot to learn, and I'm just not sure he has the potential that others think he has.

Tebow is very overhyped and overrated, IMO. He's a better fit for the Canadian Football League, where the talent level isn't at high. Ultimately it will come down to who the coaches think are the best players.

I"ve heard said that the CFL would not be a good place due to it being more of a passer league (only 3 downs). Kinda hard to play in the CFL (or the AFL for that matter) if you can't throw a 5 yard spiral.

Tebow's best chance for making the team is for one of the other 31 teams to offer a high draft pick in exchange for Mallett...

I guess that's true. And the field is 10 yards longer. Maybe the Arena Football League... but that's more passing, too.

Hello fellow NFL fans! I've created a Disney-themed fantasy football league and there's only 1 spot left. Does anyone feel like joining in on the fun? It drafts tomorrow night over on Yahoo!. Here's the link if you're interested: http://y.ahoo.it/rRroxO9i

Thanks!

Just some updates on notable players who were cut so far:

Marcus Trufant (CB) (Jaguars)
J'Marcus Webb (OT) (Bears)
Matt Leinart (QB) (Bills)
Daniel Fells (TE) (Patriots)
Jake Ballard (TE) (Patriots)
Brian Banks (LB) (Falcons)
Mike Thomas (WR) (Cardinals)
Dan Carpenter (K) (Jets)

I imagine there will be some bigger names coming out but this afternoon, when all cuts have to be made.

This was long overdue. For whatever reason the guy just couldn't get it together with the bears. I would bet he is picked up by another team fairly quick though. It is going to be a pretty interesting season for the Bears I think. Part of me thinks it will be a nice season, but part of me also thinks things could go really bad really quick. Opening day should be fairly telling.

Yeah, as a Packers fan, I know how bad the Bears line (Webb in particular) has been. But I've heard it's improved this year.

The Patriots have released Tim Tebow after a lackluster preseason. No real surprise there.

Vince Young released by the Packers according to Sportscenter's Facebook page. So if Rodgers goes down, the Pack are in serious trouble.
