Sorry Lee, but this is the year the Titans' salary cap issues catch up with them. Third place in the division won't seem so bad, after fighting hard to stay out of the cellar! :eek:

McNair is a GREAT guy, and a very tough quarterback, but things are shaping up for this to be a tough year for his team.

The AFC is wide open this year. Unless there are any huge upsets New England, Indianapolis, Baltimore and Kansas City should be the division winners.

The teams with the best chances to get the wild cards are the Bills, Jets, Bengals, Jaguars, Titans, and Broncos.

And of course, with the way the NFL is now, it wouldn't be surprising at all to see a team I didn't mention get to the Super Bowl. It's almost impossible to figure out how the season is going to turn out this year.

Of course I disagree.
McNair is healthy.
Chris Brown and Anotwain Smith have great potential to be a potent backfield.
The receiving corps is one of the best in the conference.
The defensive backs are shaping up nicely, including Samari Rolle.
Linebacker? Two words: Keith Bullock.
The only weakness I see is the D-line. Our guys are a bit prone to injury lately.

Oh, and dxwwf3, we should bet a Dole Whip on tonight's game...wish I could see it. :(

Yeah we should. Well I'm pretty sure I'll get to see it on TV here, but I don't know for sure.

In the pre-season, especially early in the preseason, I have learned to only pay attention to the first half of the game as a barameter of where the team stands. The rest of the game is usually back-ups trying to play their way into a spot on the roster. That being said, the Bengals looked pretty good this week. 28 points in a half is good against anyone, but who did they play? I mean it's a whole different ball game if that 28 is put up againt the Chargers than say a Super Bowl Champ.

Probably the best the Bengals have looked in a while. As Lombardi said, "If you get a chance to gloat, even if only in the pre-season, take every opportunity". Of course that was Neal Lombardi from Hilltop Football league circa 1980 and not Vince.

Go BENGALS. Oh, and one of the Ben-Gals goes to our church. She designed the uniforms they are wearing this year and her brother is serving over in Iraq as week type.

Okay, now that that's out of the way... ;)

My Hawks are playing here in San Diego on Saturday... I really wanna go... but $34 for a PRESEASON ticket? For the CHARGERS? :rolleyes: :lol:

I'll bet if you show up half an hour before game time, you will be able to buy tix for much less. If it is any consolation, the third preseason game is the best because teams use it as a dress rehearsal for the regular season, and will usually have the starters come back out and play a series or two after halftime, to simulate warming back up after halftime. The first and fourth games are the worst in terms of starters' playing time.

So should we expect a new avatar of you modeling your jersey soon ? I went to the Linc today and bought the Eagles baseball jersey. Still might buy a T.O jersey but I already have a McNabb jersey.
