Next Piece of WDW History Pin

I'm currently waiting on my Liberty Belle Steamboat, and I've just ordered the Alien Encounter pin even though I am actually going to be at WDW for its release; I will still try to get the pin if I can but at least I don't have to go out of my way for it, especially if the family have other plans...which families quite frequently do!

I received my Liberty Belle pin today. It is a real nice addition to the set, really a wonderful design. No I must go hit ebay to try and win the Alien Encounter one!

The answer is use a time machine and go back in time about a year and a half ago. The average price of any of the first 5 pins in the series won't be below $100. Here is a brief guide of what to expect to pay if you go after any of the pins in the series. It is fairly accurate, but it may be off as time goes by. I hope it helps.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea - $175 - $200
Tower of Terror - $75
Muppet Vision 3-D - $95
Maelstorm - $100
Dumbo - $110
Festival of the Lion King - $65
Jungle Cruise - $75
Test Track - $50
It's Tough to be a Bug - $25
Peter Pan's Flight - $50
Splash Mountain - $45
Spaceship Earth - $45
Enchanted Tiki Room Under New Management - $30

key words in bold :lol: That post was made a long time ago.

I bought a 20K pin at the Disney-MGM Studios park for the stated price of $12.50, then wore it around the parks during my trip. My wife threw away the packaging, not knowing it was so collectible. Any ideas what that pin would be worth without the bag and board it came in?

Out of curiosity...how fast do these pins usually sell out? I'll be in the world next week. Any chance I'll still be able to find tomorrows release? Or should I plan to just stick with ebay?

Originally they lasted a little bit. Now that they've caught on, some of them are more or less gone in the first day or so. I'd still keep my eyes open next week, but you may have to check each of the pin selling areas.

Maybe someone else has a little better idea, but this is what I find to be the case for the most part. :wave:
