I had been buying on Ebay too...and stopped for a little bit and I was very happy I did. When I was in WDW, they had the FoLK, Jungle Cruise, and Test Track (that was released when I was there).

I just looked at the list and I'm wondering what the piece will be in the Peter Pan, Splash, and Spaceship Earth pins. I just bought my Test Track pin and a friend will be picking up September's pin for me. I've never done this before, this is my first whole collection.

If you are willing to wait and perhaps not get the pin you can order from WDW mail order. I think they sell either 15 or 30 days after a LE pin is realeased.
Call them up and try it, I got Dumbo this way.

Also, when I was in WDW last week, I was able to find Jungle Cruise, Test Track and It's tought to be a bug. So I don't know how popular these pins actually are.

Well Octobers is out and well, since I don't a Peter Pan Pin I think Ill have to get this one. Its a piece of the flower prop, from the ride, I cant put my finger on where this plant is located in the ride however. I like the fact that it is a dome one again like 20k and FotLK becuase you can shake em, unlike the other ones where the piece is plastered to the pin.

I tried this yesterday and the lady told me that piece of history pins are never available over the phone, only in the parks. :veryconfu

It looks like I'm back to ebay. :brick:

Maybe they changed the policy but I doubt it. What we were told is that all limited edition (including the piece of history pins) are not available over the phone until a certain amount of days after their release, I think it is 30 days.
I don't know if they made a mistake for us but we go the pin. I would try again, maybe you'll get a better operator next time. Also, make sure to ask about an older one, not the one that just came out.

oh, I like this pin. Peter Pan is one of my fave rides. Although, they could have been more creative with the piece. Maybe a piece of the sail from a ride vehichle...I'm sure they have one somewhere.

Is it just me or does it look kinda sad to see them chopping of poor Brer Rabbit's ear? :lookaroun
Other then that, I really like the pin.

I can see the legal disclaimer now,
"No Animatronic Animals were hurt in the making of this pin"

I REALLY like the Splash Mountain pin, I've just ordered Peter Pan's Flight and will do the same with this one when it is released in November.

I am left wondering whether I'm ever actually going to get the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea pin without paying some of the riduculous prices I've seen it going for on eBay! Being based in the UK means that unfortunately all of my pins have to come from the bay. All things considered I'm not doing too badly; only missing the aformentioned and the Muppet Vision 3D pin.

Looking forward to seeing the Spaceship Earth pin in December, what with it being one of my favourite WDW attractions I hope it's not going to be an anti-climax.

I really like the splash pin! It's my favorite ride (lots of good memories from the cp...).

I had pins 1-4, then I finally bit the bullet last week and bought 5-9 on ebay, currently giving me a complete set to date.

How often are they still available after a month? My aunt is going to WDW (without me! ) in a month and I'd like to have her pick me up Peter Pan if possible. I guess we'll just wait and see. She leaves on the 15th of November, so hopefully she can pick me up Splash before she leaves.

Anyways, it's a great looking pin!

So the last pin comes out in 23 days and we don't know what it's going to look like. Is it odd that there is nothing on the disney pins site yet? We were seeing novembers pin when we first learned of octobers pin. I'm just curious to see what the piece is going to be.

December is the Spaceship Earth pin...

SSE just got a new sponsor - it's almost the end of the year (crowds) and so they might be holding it to release it as part of some larger announcement. I'm sddenly very worried about the implications of a SSE pin.

I to have been wondering about the release of SSE pin, like DisneyGrl85 said it's very odd that nothing has appeared on the Official Disney Pin Trading website when you consider that November's pin was up before October's pin had even been released! It's bad enough that I can't get hold of the 20'000 LUTS pin, but to think that there may be a problem obtaining the SSE pin really puts a dampener on things

What is inside of it? It looks like it might be part of the stupid wand. I was hoping it would be a piece of the Geosphere's exterior :( What a disappointing end to the series.

Well I have just been scouring the boards over at Dizpins.com and to my surprise actually found a picture of the Piece of Disney History December release...

Try as I might I couldn't work out how to post an image so you're stuck with the link for now I'm afraid ;)

The img code is not turned on on this part of the website. The pin looks cool though. I would be willing to bet the red stuff is from burnt out lightbulbs....
