Wait, Stitch has a queue that goes around the front side? Am I seeing this right? Am I the only one who didn't notice this?

On the far right here?
That's for CM's only, if I recall. Was blocked by the CM with the bug repellant.

When there isn't the construction wall blocking part of the walkway, there is an extended queue that wraps around the side of the building along the Hub waterway. There's a single loop out and back, with possibly a small queue "swirl" in the little courtyard back there. If I'm not mistaken, the "test rock" pic way back at the start of the thread is located in that queue "swirl".
The low construction wall on the left is blocking what used to be the Guest exit from the left-hand Stitch theater before they reconfigured that exit to dump into Mickey's Star Traders.
Since that door still acts as a CM door and fire exit, they have to keep a walkway clear, hence the removal of some chains in the queue to the right of the support post.

Yes, it does, or rather did. The queue does curve along the front of the building facing the hub, but I don't think they've needed to utilize any of that since the "Encounter" days.
Having seen it in person last week, I rather like this new rock scheme. The old one was probably better, but it was time for a change.

It gets used, It was being used on 7/4/16 as the park was packed. The rock scheme looks good to me as well, though I like change.

Now that the rockwork is almost done, I do think the blue is an improvement. I'm also guessing it'll look better once the buildings behind them are repainted too (something I'm going to assume will be done based on whats happened to the rest of the land). Right now I think the grey of the Stitch show building works better than the purple of Monsters Inc.

I have to say, the latest shot of the rocks look really good... An electric blue with true, old school Sci-Fi feels. Honestly, I preferred the Mars red, which tied into the surrounding landscaping and hardscaping a bit better... Granted, they were faded and looked like they could belong in Arizona just as well. But I suspect there are other changes in store for this area. Either way, I'm glad to see some love being shown where it's sorely needed.
