Those are fighting words.

At least it's just paint...shouldn't require a whole lot of crazy red tape if they don't like how it looks...
But...describe for me this purple...are we talking "Barney the Dinosaur" or "Willie Wonka's Suit" or "Purple Rain" ?
A Guardians overlay would be so ideal. Put in Groot or Rocket Raccoon in place of the other animatronics. And you could still keep with the Mission: Breakout crap.
I sum up the earlier philosophical debate as rational self-interest (ie Rand) in a Hobbesian conflict-ridden world vs. enlightened self-interest in a world of Kantian ideals / cooperation. No, I think Ayn Randian philosophy was being pretty directly referenced. I don't know, perhaps you don't realise that's who the people you're all listening to are reading.
Interesting. That would definitely make the most sense. Do you have any more details on these and similar situations? All demanded by those park's owners, not chosen by Disney.
The natural-looking rocks definitely don't belong, but I think these look much more futuristic with the metallic purple
Is that one pile of test rocks in the pictures the only ones that are painted so far, or are they painting all the rocks in TL?
I was hoping this movie would be a success. That could have helped TL WDW transform to include style elements from this:
But alas, I think I am the only one that loved this movie.
I enjoyed the concept of the movie. I think the biggest shortcoming of tomorrowland was that you see very little of it.
If youre advertising the hope and promise of a better tomorrow, then by all means, show it to me!
How about 'John Hench Purple'..?
Made EPCOT Center look pretty snazzy back in the day.....

I guess I just hope that if they evict Stitch, that they find some way to wash years and years of "chili-dog burp" smell out of the attraction...the first and only time I got on that attraction, you could smell the "surprise" before the show even started...
Here's an update on this...

I may not be sold on the paint job yet but I am thrilled they are making changes and doing some much needed upkeep to the parks.
It is great to see so many areas getting some TLC. Even if it is way way late in getting it.
That would mean that Legion of Super-Heroes comics LIED to me, and that's not something I'm willing to accept!
I've loved that comic since the 70's!
