New to cruising

Thanks, Tammy. I knew you had said something but wasn't sure what you'd said so I couldn't comment on that.

I swear, in all things in life I make it a point to take something constructive to give things purpose. I never want to stop learning. If I learned anything on this cruise it's how much of a true lady in every sense of the word that @Disneyfalcon is and how much I aspire to be that sort of person. Being positive even when things are not is completely unnatural but not impossible as Tammy demonstrated. Even when you don't like something it's possible to find something you do and that can be your focus. ((Sanaa...I knew the dinner was a stretch but then I think dessert totally eclipsed that which made it great. ;) )) Change. Diversity. Even craptasticness. It's all good. You just have to take it all in stride and find ways to create positive experiences for yourself rather than walk around letting things throw you. Tammy is the coolest of all cucumbers and a constant positive. I need to work on that. I want to be more like that.

Sorry, but I'm about to get sappy. I couldn't agree more. I met Tammy over four years ago (shortly after I'd joined KK) when her and her family were living about 30 minutes from me. My husband went to dinner with Tammy, Stephen and the kids and I was so impressed and impacted by what a wonderful family they are. Tammy has always been such a great mentor and friend to me (and great tour guide when I'd gotten lost in Disneyland haha!) I've said on numerous occasions that I wish I could carry myself, my words, my patience and my positivity as she does. And her family - my word. I adore them. When DH and I have children. I can only hope that we can be at least half as awesome parents as Tammy and Stephen are. They've raised some of the most well-rounded, thoughtful and great kids. It's pretty awesome knowing someone like Tammy. And even better when you can call her a friend :)

Well goodness gracious! I am feeling the love. :) Thank you, Jess. That is so unbelievably sweet of you.

So glad I have you all fooled! Haha! :D
