They’re not exactly viewed as that.

Honestly I find that disappointing. They (and the background system integrations completed) have made staying on property even more effortless for us during our times at WDW. I had epic issues with my KTTW Card for both of the previous two years before Magic Bands.

I can totally understand differences of opinions regarding FP+ and the planning windows. I think I would prefer no FP solution to either paper or +.

Thanks buddy! Some people just don't get that essentially what I'm doing with DSNY Newscast is acting as a sort of Philip DeFranco for Disney News, an aggregator of everything to do with The Walt Disney Company, as there is so much that happens, and a lot of people have trouble staying up to date.

I think you're doing a great job! Keep it up.

Worse quick service restaurant in general, or do you mean a worse fit for a buffet? It is definitely a bad location to put a buffet from a crowd control perspective.

But quality-wise, while Pinocchio is definitely not good, Cosmic Ray's is honestly the most vile restaurant at WDW in my opinion. Even McDonalds has considerably better food, which I already consider worthless basically inedible trash.
Cosmic Rays has a new menu that is a step in the right direction. McDonald's is not better than CR's.
I think Disney sees growth in WDW, considering they were lauding the success of Pandora in a recent earnings call. As Martin has pointed out, Epcot has been losing attendance for quite a while.

I understand there are bigger fish to fry, but WDW isn't all rosy financially either.
WDW probably generates more profit than all the other resorts combined.
I wasn't arguing that the parks aren't doing well. They're booming. But, if investments don't continue that will cease to be the case. With other sectors of the company failing to produce growth, Disney sees the parks as a way to pick up the slack. P&R was the saving grace last quarter. Sorry for the confusion.
Except they are investing $5 billion~ in WDW.

I have to say that your show has improved substantially from when you first started. Keep up the great work!

It's incredibly frustrating that they would cancel a theatre when the need to divert a few thousand people out of the rest of the park every hour or two is apparent. It's wall to wall people. You can hardly enjoy yourself some days.
That’s when we explore Tom Sawyers Land and ride the Liberty Steamboat to escape the crowds for a bit. TSL is very cool.

Bit of a shame if the theatre has been cancelled as I think a crowd absorber like a theatre show is something that Magic Kingdom really needs.

Saying that, I’m rather they cancelled this over anything else

I love those escapes too, but they don’t absorb crowds. I’m glad they don’t; if they did, they’d no longer be escapes!

In terms of actual capacity, the MK did a better job absorbing guests in 1995 than it does now. At the time, the park had a few more D tickets and several little shops and shows (TL theater, ToonTown, Main Street Magic Shop and Cinema, Alien Encounter [mid-1995], Timekeeper, 20K despite its abismal capacity). Together, these distributed crowds better than one mine train coaster and an omnimover in Fantasyland.

Plus, the MK had a night parade, and WDW didn’t have year-round crowds like it does now.

The good thing is—as @marni1971 and others have stated repeatedly—Disney has accepted that FP+ does not negate the need for additional attractions and investments, and improved capacity is on the way!
