It is easy to miss. Go to 2:30 in the video and keep your eyes peeled...



Honestly, I am not happy to see it go away. I notice it (and the "holographic ships") every time we walk through the queue because I spent so much time standing in the line there as a kid/teen. I liked that they "enhanced" the queue without stripping out the original stuff. It's not like there isn't plenty of room!

If they want to "enhance" something at Space Mountain, why not do something about that stinking hallway after the Control Tower? Benches at least? It's closterphobic, it's cramped, the windows are too high off the ground...and there is no entertainment! Why not some TVs and a fun little video?

I like to stop and look at it and think...wow, at one point I thought those teenagers were so cool and their hairstyles were so rad to the maxx! (and yes, I did this while wearing either Bugle Boy clothes or Spandex Shorts (remember when that was a fad) with neon shirts and a butt pack.

They just have to integrate Star Wars characters into the video. Character integration and billions of dollars... Gotta make it worth it!

I completely agree! It's like they did all the work on the rest of the building got to that point ran out of money and just had some green paint laying around and decided to paint the hallway with that!

It's this video just before the queue splits to Alpha or omega you can see the screen on your left side...I found a video from Youtube of what it looks like..It's technically not even a preshow..It's just something to look at....

I remember when they used to play this same video, then have a safety spiel with this Japanese lady that came right after it. Anyone know why they got rid of her and not this particular part? Basically she quoted what was on the 'billboard' earlier in the que. when they mispelled "out of this would" instead of "out of this world."

Speaking about old fashions, sunglasses and Tomorrowland...probably '88 or '89, I got those Glacier sunglasses that had the side leather piece and the wrap around earpiece at the Star Traders shop. I was soooooooo cool back then! LOL

That hallway to the left seems to be a longer wait off the FP than going right, but my thing about going to the right is not being cramped in that left hallway. There are times when people seem to want to crowd personal space more than normal in an already cramped space.
