News New Space Mountain Coming to Tokyo Disneyland in 2027

I'm glad that it isn't just a version of Cosmic Rewind which was rumored at one point

Weirdly (as someone who doesn't rate Cosmic Rewind at all) I was really looking forward to a Space Mountain take on Cosmic Rewind.

This coaster could be amazing but based on track layout it just looks a bit generic indoor coaster so far.

Which would be fine if it’s smooth with plenty of visuals IMHO

I was asking earlier how this version compares to the previous version. Is it bigger? Track length, etc. Does anyone have the stats? It looks amazing!

This one definitely has larger drops in it's layout than the original one.

Have you done the one in Disneyland? Because the Tokyo one was an almost carbon copy of that one.

I have ridden the Disneyland, the Disney World and the Paris version.
Have not visited the Tokyo resort but it is on my bucket list. Perhaps I need to wait until the Tokyo version opens.
Having ridden Guardians, I can imagine the same ride system. Guardian's is amazing !!

After the initial launch we spiral up in a massive helix. I'm going to guess this will be an even more epic version of the Moon slingshot from Guardians where we encircle a physical sphere.
