Disney minion: "Why don't we implement a fastpass+ type system? Maybe a Disney security pre-check line?"

Of interest, this passage stuck out...

Both Disney and Universal have been advertising for the security guards. Disney's pay starts at $10.55; Universal doesn't specify.

$10.55/hr? I wonder what kind of security that buys?

Was at AK on Monday 1/11, Disney was running the detectors and it was a smooth and professional operation, They were choosing mainly people wearing bulky clothing. A far cry from the CSC goons at DHS on 12/20

Still meaningless/for show only, but at least we can expect better guest experience than with CSC.

I was selected to be scanned twice during the holidays and there was absolutely nothing negative about the guest experience with the staff operating them at that time.

Pretty much confirms CSC was sent in as a rush measure because they were tipped off on potential threats. Glad they are handling it internally now.
