well...what do they expect when the GE is literally a battle scarred planet that is fairly lifeless... There are no kinetics to the area... just petrified trees and rocks...all other set piece3s are stationary and there is little color... It is almost too movie-set like to it's detriment...
It doesn't feel fun...
Perhaps if they third attraction had been built and there was something moving, it would help...
The lack of kinetics kills it, nothing moves or does anything, it all just sits there. Compare that to Magic Kingdom where almost anywhere you stand you can see something coming to life. The star tours queue has more interest than the entire exterior space of GE

plus, I feel this won't last when we see guests decide to collapse to the floor and cause a calamity just for this nonsense..

Obviously everyone hates Pirates since the town is literally burning down
Kinetics dear....Everything in that scene is filled with motion and music. now if the town had burned down 5 years ago and there were just scorched buildings and no music or animatronics or flames or moving clouds, I would get your response.....

I don't think we ate anything at all at Hollywood Studios on our last two trips there. It has by far the least to do of any of the four parks, so we generally ate breakfast somewhere, went there for late morning through the afternoon, then went to Disney Springs to eat dinner somewhere. Not eating there certainly doesn't make me feel like I'm missing anything.
I might agree with breakfast (although H&V is plenty good), but if you haven't had lunch/dinner at Mama Melrose's (and like Italian), you are really missing out. In fact, one of my favorite "snacks" in all of WDW is the Blue/Green milk (yes, both) at GE.

It’s noticeable that GE was designed for things to be happening throughout, and then those things were cut.

The promising thing is those could be added, and they’d. E incentivizes to do so if they can pitch it as a new attraction (like Muppets in Liberty Square).

As for RRBBQ, I’m pleasantly surprised by the dimensional elements, but it’s also because my expectations were low…

I will say this about the restaurant -- regardless of my feelings on the overall theming etc., they did a good job breaking the room up into different sections using themed elements. It doesn't look/feel like a huge empty room, which is never good for a restaurant unless you want it to feel like a cafeteria (the themed ceiling helps with this too).

It's a mistake they made with Be Our Guest, IMO, at least in the main room. While it looks like the ballroom from the movie, when you're actually eating there it's just a big open space with tables everywhere. It does feel like a cafeteria.

Absolutely this. Be Our Guest should definitely be divided a lot more, perhaps with a fake elevated dais at the rear for an imagined orchestra and more defined "cocktail" seating areas around the perimeter. It wouldn't be as consistent with the film, but at least you wouldn't get crammed into a sad two-seater against a wall in a roaring room.

I'm interested to see what they've done at Narcoossee's since they apparently removed the elevated middle section. It will be a huge mistake if they've simply turned it into one large, flat open room.
