The concept art looked like most of the decorations were literally plywood like the rest of Toy Story land. How are they so slow at building those!

Because they choose to go at a slow pace. Also, it isn't literally plywood.

There are other restaurants still not open yet due to the labor shortage. They were in no rush to get this open.

I'm guessing it's just art, but it sounds open to a M&G with those characters.

I think it is safe to say it is just art. With the situation in entertainment, they would not be able to staff it. And we have never had any indication that this will be character dining.

I hate this aesthetic so much. It looks cute and fun on opening day, but it ages so poorly once it starts taking a beating.

More table service options in DHS is good, but the food choices does seem redundant a bit with Woody's across TSL.

Only if you're willing to pay the premium for the luxury of AC and shelter in this land.

It's taken 5 years to fix a problem they created (not enough dining and seating capacity) and the solution involves having the consumer spend more money. How can WDI be so bad at their job when there's decades of knowledge for how to design stuff right the first time?

That was my exact thought. It's not bad, as a result. I just don't see it justifying any sort of premium price. Quite the opposite.
