I entered this morning at 9:00. I am such a Disney dork, I was waiting for the clock to click over.:lookaroun Looks as if they are only choosing 10 people this year. Good luck to everyone that enters.. I am hoping that this is my year!! :lol: *fingers crossed*

Hey DisneyShe:wave:. Good luck! I know this is my 2nd try. The 1st time I tried is when the panel was introduced. Of course I was not selected, but I can tell you I made some great friends through my obsession of all things Disney. I also received a great little welcome to the club packet.

There seem to be quite a few of us "Disney Dorks" (as my dh calls me) out there!
The welcome packs were such a nice touch to those that did not make it. I would be thrilled just to make it to round two.

I know me too. I have connected with one of the mom's on the Panel and she has told me that the experiance is awesome. The places & people are great. I so desire to really connect with others that understand my excitement of Disney, but to share that and see the happiness in others is so rewarding.
So I will keep you posted if I hear anything from the mom's panel.

They don't specifically ask you to state in the application whether you're a mom or dad, or even whether you're a parent.
I mentioned kids, but used "spouse" instead of "wife."
But they can probably match my log-in name to my full name somewhere in their database, if they want to weed out us ignorant unqualified Y-chromosomers.

The Mom's panel is a forum that is suported by Disney and is linked to the Disney Web site. Basically you submit and application on line and they will select those that they want to answer and give advise trip planning tips. If you do get selelcted you have to go through "Disney" training.
So if you like to help others plan their Disney vacation by offering suggestions, go ahead and submit an application. Go to this link.

I am glad you applied, I mean dad's enjoy planning on going to WDW, so i wish you the best of luck and maybe you wil be the only dad and the will have to take you..:sohappy:
Also just to mention I see you are from PA, I was born & raised in California, PA, before I moved here in VA.
.
I've been doing all the planning for our family for years...that's tons of fun, just anticipating the event.
I wouldn't want to think they had to 'settle' for me, but to be honest I'd take the 'win' any way it happened. They can even give me one of the pink jackets to wear...I'd smile the whole time.

It looks as if it is still open for applications, wonder if that means they did not get 20,000 entries??
Now the waiting and obsessive checking of emails begins. :ROFLOL:I think it was around the 6th of October when everyone started getting their's last year but I am not sure. *crossing fingers again*
