New resort toiletries

Does anybody know what the new resort toiletries are like? We are staying at the Disney Beach Club villas in July. I have heard that they have changed to H2O+. What do you get in the room now? Do they replace them daily?

We stayed at the WL in April and they were the H20 products. There was shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hand soap and bath soap and they did get replaced when used or in our case put in our suitcase to bring home! I did notice they sold the full sized version of everything plus the whole line of products in the gift shop.

We had them last year at Saratogo Srpings. They are very nice, I loved the shampoo. I wanted to buy the full size bottle in the gift shop, but I refuse to pay $14 for a bottle of shampoo no matter how much I love it.

Same in Saratoga. I thought I remembered someone saying that the values were still using the other stuff.

They had H2O stuff at Pop Century last week. (Well, the lowest level of H20, the "Bathtime with Mickey" collection) The soap seemed to be the same as the old stuff, but the shampoo was horrible imo. My hair just never felt clean. And I normally use cheap Suave too...

Yep, we had the H2O stuff at AS Music in November. I LOVED the shampoo/conditioner at the time and even bought a bottle in the gift shop. However, since I started using the larger bottle I brought home I've realized that it leaves my hair really greasy and really need to switch to something else now.

The BC Villas had them H2O+ in April when I was there. They replace them when they need to be. e.g. if they go "missing" into your suitcase they will put new ones out. Of course if you are in a Villa on DVC points you are only getting them on T&T days, and on your full clean day if you are there that long.

As someone said, they do have them in the gift shop for $$$$$

Mousekeeping in the BCV tend to leave their carts in the hallway a lot. I took an extra shampoo off of one, because my oldest daugher uses more shampoo to wash her hair once then I use in a month, and since we are DVC we were running out before our T&T day. I am not advocating you fill your pockets from the mousekeeping carts, but if you do find yourself needing an extra bottle of something they are there.

I happen to like the whole product line as well.

DH and I actually were just on a kid free weekend getaway (not WDW) and the resort we were at had the H20+ line. It was good stuff. I liked the shampoo and conditioner, DH was a fan of the body soap. It had a very faint, but nice smell. I'm actually glad that I got the chance to try them because now I know I don't really need to pack that stuff for our WDW trip.

Back at Pop in August, we had the H2o+ line, too. It smelled great! H2o+ has a web site where you can order the same products. It won't have Mickey on it, but the contents are still the same.

All the resorts are using the H2O+ line (they had it in the Pop century last year and the Poly last year) I personally didn't like it, but my mother loved it so much she bought the entire line of product...I dunno, I like my ivory soap. lol

On my last trip last week, we split up our stay at Port Orleans Riverside and Saratoga Springs. Saratoga Springs had those new toiletries, but Riverside had the same old ones! Even worse, the only thing that they gave you were two soaps and one shampoo/creamrinse mix. No lotion or anything else!! I was kinda disapointed because on the first day I took a showere before heading to the parks, (our luggage had not yet come from the Magical Express) and I desperately needed some lotion. I even went and found a maid cart and she told me I had to call Maid service to get a lotion!!! I was kind of surprised by that. I wanted a showercap too, bad I guess that was really asking for too much!! That's my only complaint this trip!! I promise!!:lookaroun
