New pyro product test for Reflections of Earth

Not sure about a lot of that new product.

Chaos: new ground charges are alright (I prefer the current ones) and the waterfall like shells in the second half are OK I guess, but the scattering bees are vastly inferior to the current ones.

Adventure: couldn't see any noticeable changes.

Home: don't like the new waterfall pyro (it doesn't "waterfall" enough).

Celebration: Miss the screamers/whistles. The test pyro feels out of place and obnoxious. And the final blue burst is all noise and no color.

Meaning/Finale: looked like the same pyro that has been in use for months.

Overall, no. I prefer the current product over what was tested. If there is any change that needs to be made, its to bring back some variation in the colors to Adventure and the finale.

Epcot ran a test of some new pyro product for Reflections of Earth last night. What do you think to the changes?

I think I would've like to handy-dandy text message or email notifying me of said test taking place so I can see it firsthand…. I can't judge these things on video very well.

It's really hard to judge fireworks on any screen, much less my iPad.

Looked like a bunch of lit-up white smoke, mostly.

Didn't the beginning have fast, shooting things before?

I saw Illuminations for the first time Saturday night. In this newbie's opinion, it blows Fantasmic out of the water. I had such high hopes going to see Fantasmic the first time, but was disappointed that much of it was just animation projected onto the water. The boat finale was cool, though. Maybe I just need to go see it again?

Anyway, we watched from the reserved area in showcase plaza and when I got to the car noticed we had brown spots all over our arms. Guessing it was just from some fireworks debris. Regardless, that vantage point was awesome.

Duly noted. Don't wear white or light colors.

Others in my family disagree, but Illuminations is my favorite if the 3 nighttime shows.
