Looks like they went all out on that new pool for the building... Even BLT has a little bit of style.... Yeah Yeah I know there is a fiberglass Moana splash pad... which again adds nothing for the adults, and certainly adds nothing to the ambience. I would think with the look of the new tower, all the amenities and accessory buildings would be beautifully themed to help make up for the Marriott tower.... but I guess not.

I've read post people saying you can't see the Polydayinn form the Polynesian but the second picture looks like you can't miss it
Well for me what I said was you can enjoy areas at The Polynesian and The Grand
A few additional photos:

As long as the building doesn't have A framed roofs with it, it will never appear to fit in with The Polynesian.~

They were able to make BLT and The Villas at Grand match effortlessly with their mother resort, why can't they do here, looks like Grandpa just nestled off to the side grumpy! 🤣

As has been said, you can obviously see it from the western rooms in Fiji, northern rooms in Aotearoa, and some rooms in Tuvalu. The pool anchors a new central area for all three, boxed in by the lowest portion of the tower to the west. You can also see it from the beach and marina, though it actually blends decently from those locations, IMO. Where you generally cannot detect it at all unless you're really looking for it are in all the areas in the heart of the resort, including the lava pool, the Great Ceremonial House, the patio, etc. Basically any longhouse area not in the three aforementioned partial sections.

I stand by my stance that the biggest issue is location. If they built this in the current parking lot “hugging” the GCH I could get more on board with the “there was always going to be a tower here look at this concept art from the 60s!” spin. It would all feel a bit more natural and feng shui. Where it is now it will always stick out even as the finished product doesn’t look terribly ugly. If I had better photo shop skills I’d try to put together what I’m picturing, but along the lines of how GDT follows the shoreline of the lake at Coronado helps it feel a bit more like it’s meant to be there.

Just walking where by the resort lakeside and looking at Grand Destino Tower and Coronado Spring's off to the right. Every single thing from it's angle views from the bridge's to how it's become the entrance icon to Coronado Spring's is as if it was always there perfectly built buttered in with the resort. It's too perfect actually. 👌
