There’s short and long term plans. They’re hedging their bets and making use of an existing facility. If it’s good use is in the eye of the beholder and all that. Just remember, more Disney and more family.
Any clue of how "temporary" this will be? Like how Camp Minnie-Mickey was "temporary"?

Long term plans meaning, if in the short term guests aren't lined up outside guest relations complaining, it stays?

This just feels like Innoventions and Disney Quest part 2.

They could have come up with a much better old or new idea that revolves around the future.

- Wonders of Life (Inside Out edition)
- Recycling with WALL-E
or even
- Horizons

Its more like they realised too late in an afternoon that the actual capacity won't be there for the 50th and needed a bandaid whilst allowing the committee to approve a dedicated Festival centre in the hub of the park. And improve another pavilion in the long run as well. Plus not wanting to commit to building something that would take 5 years to build. TBH I liked the weather pavilion retrofitting plan, that was more in keeping with Epcot, and was already designed to go.

Yes, but as is too-often their M-O, they waited too long and got stuck.

So I heard somewhere that there are no plans thus far to use the old Body Wars and Cranium Command show buildings for new attractions. But if they do decide to put a new ride in there one day, it should most definitely be a simulator or trackless ride system based on either Wall-E, Wreck-It Ralph, Big Hero 6, or Inside Out. Any other good ideas for that space?
