It was never going into tortuga tavern

I think a lot of the seating area there was originally shops, there was an article on passport to dreams about it.

Forgotten Shops of Adventureland is the name of the article. The north building of Caribbean Plaza used to be the quick serve and two shops. This became expanded seating for Pecos Bill and just the quick serve in 1998.

So I take it the lounge is going to go into the old Pirates League space then rather than Tortuga? Do you think Tortuga will remain a gift shop, or will the space be used for something else? Maybe a return of El Pirate y El Perico?

Tortuga will return to a semi-seasonal QSR location after the they’re done with the work at Pirates.
