You heard it here First: The Hat is being replaced by a Gigantic Wig of the same color of the hair of one of the girls from Frozen...they may consider putting a wig across Echo Lake facing the former BAH spot as well.

We just returned last week and the those images are definitely NOT from the park maps we got.

It has been determined that these are not from in park maps, but from the "4 Parks of Fun" guides that are found in offsite hotels.

Woah, the Hollywood Studios map looks very very bare. I hate the BAH but I'm so used to it being there that it looks very weird to have nothing whatsoever in front of the GMR... I'm thinking that they should/will do some elaborate mosaic on the floor or expand the celebrity hand-prints or something?

I'm hoping for a fountain of some sort. The park needs more water. More kinetics.

Seems like somebody in marketing is behind the ball on updating those. Either that, or they come from 2 different groups inside the company and the one responsible for these didn't get the updated artwork, or they are re-designing them and the next release will have them.

Ok, here's the thing...if you look closely at the vacant court area, you will see by the map crease, a pattern repetition...which is indicative that it was cleaned up in photo shop... It is all a little suspect.
whether someone just did that or whoever produced the maps professionally could have done that, but the patterning is there...and looks like is was definitely altered.

If it's as simple as adding and removing a layer, then why would the circle that formed Mickey's "nose" also be taken away in the new version?

It was probably painted out or removed from the original background layer image when the hat was added, I noticed some of the walk ways have changed colors from map to map over time and the nose/eyes seem like they are part of that walk way layer

Just thought of something... Is Earful going to be demo'ed?

It's ironic that they've been promoting Earful more these days than BAH, but they ended up closing down The Backlot Tour, which really was the only way to see Earful.

Oh I do hope they don't destroy the Earful Tower I love the Earful Tower. Just don't put it where the BAH is!
Saying that, the Tower is something typical of a working Studio, or at least it used to be. Is it still? Will they keep it if they are moving away from the whole 'studio' thing?
It'll probably end up like River Country. Old and rusty and left to rott in a field.

It was most likely a bad photoshop production job...I don't doubt that they exist...

Never fear everyone, there will still be the Frozen concert stage to block the view of the theater.

I wish they would just go ahead and get this done with, the Studios look to get a ton of changes in the next several years. This would be a fantastic start.

It's very simple...

Most people don't hate the hat, they just hate where is is placed.

It would make a great entrance to Fantasmic.. It might even look pretty neat on top of the Philharmagic building, if that's possible. Just not... There..
