Any thoughts on PPO ADRs that people had on the books?Yep. AK the earliest and EC the latest makes the most sense. MK and DHS hours could go either way.
GUESS: Epcot will be easy for most of the day, packed in the evenings as people search for somewhere to eat.
Yes. I mean, that's an extreme case, but my impression has been that they are still opening early if not earlier than ever with Extra Magic Hours.Really? My 3:30 am wake ups for ROTR beg to differ...
In the summer? 8 am to 10 am is the best window for sunshine and somewhat comfortable temperatures. It’s 90 degrees by 11 and stormy any time from 12 noon to 9 pm.
I wouldn't deny early risers the comfort of a 7am or 8am start to the day, but one of the things I have begun to find a chore about WDW vacations is the shift toward super early starts and then early closing times.
For me, 5am and 6am starts to the day don't sound like much of a vacation. These forums have taught me that I am a minority in that respect among Disney fans, though!
Other than that they have been not as long. I went last March break and magic kingdom was closing at 10 pm and DHS closing at 8, used to be midnight all the time during peak timesReally? My 3:30 am wake ups for ROTR beg to differ...
If Universal will push through with Horror Nights this year, why can't Disney do MNSSHP?
Not much worse though than some hours they offered in the 90’s even without parties.Pssst...those are reduced hours
In July? Not much worse though than some hours they offered in the 90’s even without parties.

Not July. But there were definitely days in the 90’s where the Magic Kingdom closed at 6 and 7 in January February and even August. I realize those aren’t July but remember these won’t be July crowd levels either. In July?
Or in September when no one went?
(We don’t need to do this. “Special ticket events” are a step towards block pricing. It’s higher cost per hour. No need to argue)

Everything coming back on line will be a slow process. At Epcot many will be up to third parties. Akershus is not third party and is all Disney. The character element will be an issue for that location. Akershus is mostly plated with only a cold buffet offered to supplement the food brought to the table. It’s easily removable. Biergarten will be the big challenge at Epcot.true, except people keep mentioning the dining at Epcot. We don't know yet which dining locations are returning and which are not. Are we assuming they will all be coming back on line? Or is it going to be up the third party in some cases? I can't see Akershus returning (though I have been praying for years it would return to a Norwegian experience and ditch the character mess. But then that still has the buffet issue.
Solidarity!Yeah, when I said part of the reason I didn't like the boarding pass system for RotR was because forcing people to get up at 7 AM (or earlier, especially when it was first open) just for the chance to ride wasn't my idea of a fun Disney vacation, I was essentially attacked for it. Multiple people calling me lazy and saying ridiculous stuff like if you aren't already up that early to rope drop the parks daily you're basically wasting your time and shouldn't even be going to Disney.
And meet &greetsWithout Boo to You and the fireworks, what would be the point? I'm not paying $100+ for candy!
I’ll never criticize anyone for not doing ridiculous hoop jumping for a ride or an amusement park. That’s a failure on the operators fault for not having enough available.Yeah, when I said part of the reason I didn't like the boarding pass system for RotR was because forcing people to get up at 7 AM (or earlier, especially when it was first open) just for the chance to ride wasn't my idea of a fun Disney vacation, I was essentially attacked for it.
