News New Parade: Magic Happens

I agree. Festival of Fantasy was a pretty great parade even if it relied on the same core movies. Parade of the Stars was pretty good too.

They had the perfect parade in Paint the Night. I wish it would return.

*cough* despite being a clone of Hong Kong's parade that debuted a year earlier *cough*

I'm going to need to hear it in person next month, but it just doesn't seem very memorable. I'm just surprised after all the hype they put into Todrick Hall composing all this music for them, that what we got seems so generic. But maybe it sounds better in person? Maybe they just need to re-arrange it a bit and end the parade on a more upbeat note?

It's sad the building is gone. Those pictures show how wonderfully creative previous parades were. Now we can start fresh with mediocrity and the twitter feeds will never know what we had.

too bad someone didn’t consider cutting out those pieces of art from to save. looks like they were painted on plaster walls but its cool that they digitally saved them and printed them to use in new building

Is Hei Hei the chicken from Moana? Because yes, there was a big basket with a robot chicken in it flying around the parade route with the Moana hula guy dancers. It was cute!
