They are probably still busting their butts trying to get this open before the holidays. Sadly if they don't gets this open this month I think it's a safe bet we won't be seeing it until Spring.

Honestly, if the show is delayed to spring, which it (to my knowledge) is not, then it will be due to a major issue that can not be reworked. The suits want this open ASAP, since delaying it is spending money to test without guest return, be it through commemorative merch or whatnot. Jim Hill talked about a lack of publicity, and how Disney would want to make a big deal out of it, but that could not be further from the truth. They want this to be quiet until just a few days before, because they are worried about capacity, and just in case another disaster happens <knock on wood> they will not have accidentally announced the date. Everything is looking up (including the sightlines) for Rivers of Light.

If David Miller was here all last week, went home to LA on Monday and flew right back here on Tuesday, maybe this week is go time. It doesn't seem like he's like, "oh there's problems, let the technicians figure it out," it seems like he is really pushing it, as expected. Just a thought.....

Hey neighbor!!!!!

Apologies for going off subject for a second- but while at Christmas in July this year I told my son about Winterfest. I was so THRILLED when they announced it for next year a month later!

Most of all we are excited to find out #whatsintheshed next Spring. My kid has asked everyone and anyone at the park. I can handle ROL being delayed (sorry thread people), I don't think I could handle a delay of Mystic Timbers..I have a little boy that I promised we will be among the first in line on opening day to ride it.lol

Really hoping that this will be open during my visit from the UK from Nov 21st, but predicting that knowing my luck it'll most likely open on Dec 6th the day after I leave!

I think they are just delaying RoL and keep people guessing to distract us from the fact that Avatar Land won't be opening until 2018 at this rate. :eek:
