Muhahahahah :)

And you're making the restraining order so easy. We know what you look like and your first name... I'm sure if we stalked out your Twitter we'd get last name too. (Funny, but totally true, and kinda scary, right?!)

My AK evening slots are still open and at this point I'm not holding out much hope... would be awesome, though, if a miracle happened.

Barring any more upsets I'd be surprised if it doesn't open this month.
Martin, how can anything with an April 22nd planned opening date be delayed 7 months? I've worked on 'projects' that needed some extra time, but do you think that once the decision was made to delay it, they took the time to completely rework/improve the show?

If a cast member at AK says that RoL isn't happening tonight, believe them.

If a cast member at AK says the RoL is delayed until April, try not to laugh in their face.

Except for the things that impacts their duty during the day, or their schedule for the upcoming week, cast members are only 'in the know' because they read blogs and reddit and forums like this, not because management tells them stuff (except for the rare leak).

This is one of the most frequently asked questions I've seen on here.

They set the opening date for April 22, which would've been fine had mostly everything worked as planned. They didn't need extra time to design the show. They didn't need extra time to build/get the floats and props. April 22 would've been a fine time for the show to run, barring any extreme circumstances.

And that's exactly the problem, they came across an extreme circumstance. The fundamental system of movement behind their entire show did not work. The GPS system was not controlling the floats. It wasn't a slight problem, like a few fountains not working reliably or an image not projecting well. Rather, it was one of the largest problems that they could've encountered.

And so these last seven months have been largely spent finding a solution. See, those slight problem examples I mentioned... those can be solved with some sort of replacement or workaround. The GPS system had to work or the show would've had to have been drastically changed, or just dropped.

Personally, I'm happy that the engineers did find a solution.
