Photo update as of Wednesday, July 29. Here are some specific updates not previously shown. While the video update from TheDisneyBlog posted above was interesting, it was taken before the
@wdwmagic construction photo update posted today.
The "show building" near the Expedition Everest-to-Nemo bridge has been visible for some time. There is another "show building" being constructed on the Nemo theatre side of the lake. Here is a photo of this building, taken directly opposite the front of the Nemo theatre.
Additionally, the alternate walkway along the lake shore from the Dinoland USA entrance to the Nemo theatre now has construction walls blocking that walkway, to facilitate on-going construction for Rivers of Light. Here is the view from Dinoland USA entrance, looking left after crossing the bridge.
Here is the view from the Nemo theatre. The walkway to the left with the yellow stripe goes directly to Dinoland. Note the new "Exit" sign.
As shown in the video and
@wdwmagic's construction update, at various places near Flame Tree Barbecue dining areas, and other locations around the lake, the shore line is filled in behind sheet pile to support show features, with underground piping.
This filled-in area has a metal edge welded to the top of the sheet pile.
Perhaps in conjunction with Rivers of Light (or not), the former FastPass building near Expedition Everest is now enveloped with construction cloth. The front and back facades are partially removed (under the scaffolding). The façade facing the river and walkway remains the same.
