I know high ups at SeaWorld and they've even said to me they felt like they could have done much better. I rode it in January and definitely the penguin exhibit is epic, it's massive. The cold didn't even bother me as it was just stunning, but the ride felt like a preshow to the exhibit. Easily could have been one of the best rides in Orlando, but they just threw it away.

I wonder if they were thinking "lets make these people dizzy by spinning and so they can think our attraction is disney E ticket level!!"

It's more like: "Let's call the ones that spins so slowly you can perform eye surgery in them the ""wild version"" so that they think they're getting an E-Ticket ride!!"

The one thing they did learn from Disney is that if the VFX are awful, add a lot of blinking lights.

So I chatted with 2 CM's today and both were going to the preview. I know you can't always go on what they say but after informing them I would be here until Dec.11th, they said I have a very good chance of seeing it, if all goes well and they expect it to. Of course I tried bribing the one to get into the preview,they never fall for that.

I'd like to think people care about their jobs a lot more than the 2 seconds of fame they would get from having the "first full Rivers of Light video" online.

I cannot believe this is actually happening. I honestly believed they'd scrap it at one point. Glad to see it moving along. This will be an awesome addition to AK.
