It's not April but out of curiosity, do you talk to manager types or front line people?

She was not a manager but works in that area. Like I said I don't believe that time frame, but them still having technical difficulties? Maybe. I guess our wait continues :rolleyes:

I'm disappointed, too, but I think I'm more disappointed for you! Our next trip is planned for 17 already, so if I don't get to see it this time, I'm hopeful it'll be working for next time. We haven't seen many of the other new things, yet, so I'm going to stay focused on those :)

Thinking of some of them: Star Wars Fireworks Show, new Soarin', Frozen Ever After (yep, I know, the one everyone loves to hate), Muppets in MK and EPCOT, and we're going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (first time ever, and I've been going to WDW for a pretty long time - have seen it on Christmas, but never to the party), and the Wine n Dine half marathon after party. I'm sure I'm forgetting some other things...oh, maybe a quick trip over to Disney Springs to see how that's shaping up, maybe ride Characters in Flight, the other nighttime stuff at AK (safari, awakenings)...

Whether it opens up or not - really hope you have a fantastic time! (and, you, too @Soarin' Over Pgh !!)

Thank you! I have so many new things to experience as well like my first Christmas Party!! :) I know my trip will be amazing regardless, it's just sad that something I was most looking forward too since booking (February of this year) will still not be up and running. Guess you never can bank on things opening on time, or even 7 months delayed! Hoping ROL is worth the wait, and it helps my beloved AK stay a full day park. :) :)

They know just as much as the regular public does. Cast Members will hear nothing until it's officially announced. Unless they are very close to the project or involved in it in someway shape or form, take everything with a grain of salt. it's like I had a cast member in Disney Springs tell me that ROL will never happen bc Jungle Book was such a hit. So yeah, AK cast members are just as clueless unless they are the ones working very close to the project.
