Once again, they're really missing out by not going that route, though.
Agreed.

WDW, pandering to the lowest common denominator since 1996.It does sound like a poor man's Mad T Party, though the show could be good if the band is. From a corporate perspective, I can't imagine this isn't being paid for by the studio to promote the film. There's no real upside from the TDO perspective except as a LTM placeholder. If they really wanted to replicate the success of T, they'd have liquor sales and a more adult theme, and not in front of the Hat.
The more I think about it, the dumber TDO is for not replicating T already. Streets of America would be an easy place to shove a big nighttime street party. I don't think T itself would go over well at WDW - the character representations are bit risque for the midwest sensibility - I can just see the mommy blogger complaints about Alice now!
Haha so true!Dance parties are a cheap form of entertainment for all the sheeple. I can get that at any park.
But thanks for the words of wisdom Tim_4.
Agreed. Let's hope this is extremely limited time magic. Why is DHS so persistent in having that horrible temporary stage almost year round now?! It's just an eyesore.

The new Monsters show will open June 14th and run thru the summer. It will feature Mike, Sulley, dancers and a live band.
Better then the crap jobs they have been doing with marketing moviesDoes anybody else feel like they're going overboard with all the Monsters U stuff? Yeah it'll probably be a decent movie, but really...
