If the show will be half as good as the one in this thread I'll be perfectly happy!

Mission to Mars? BORING! (another example that popped into my head) and the Jungle Cruise to me has always been boring with predictable jokes...even as an adult.

Sincere apologies then.

My kids dancing with Goofy, Chip and Dale back then are some great memories.

Exactly. Which, is why I don't point at the Dance Parties as an issue. Of course, I would have, if you had asked me to compare it to 1980/90s Disney, it would seem like a sell out cheap solution. But, if you view it as an enhancement to the park, to bring kids and parents together (note the music they play is music parents will well know, mixed in with a few modern hits, but not overly saturated with them), it's a lot of fun.

I don't mind the dance parties. Had I gone as a single adult with no kid...I would probably would find them blasphemy! (grin)

Hey...finally a post of your I like!

BTW though... you have to admit that list of yours is pretty lame, compared to what Disney is capable of. And I was talking more about Shows(not restaurants and ride) vs Dance parties. But hey go back to the above statement and lets leave it at that.

Watchout englanddg... you said they were cheap compared to 80's/90's Disney! ;)

No, I said "it would seem like a sell out cheap solution"

"seem" is a word that has meaning, do I need to go to Oxford/English and explain it to you?

Nice try to paraphrase me (though I took it as a friendly elbow jab to the gut, but couldn't really let it stand, as that is NOT what I said)...

<grin>

I've never heard the term "sheeple" before (though I'm sure I can guess what that means), but I too think the dance parties are a cheap form of entertainment.

Sheeple is a rather common term. It means people who are as easily led as sheep. Though, I'm sure you guessed that.

And yes, the Dance Parties are a rather cheap, financially, form of entertainment. Man, god forbid Disney entertain Guests. What were they thinking?

It's the "sheeple" comment that es people off. It's like if I logged on to a Universal Studios site and posted "everyone who likes WWoHP is a giant toolbag."

Good for you for not "snorting the pixie dust." It's nuts how many people have the absolute NERVE to be Disney fans on this DISNEY FAN SITE.

But put it another way-a difference between a shallow advocate and a fan is that one denies fault, the other criticizes out of passion. One might blast WWoHP in a brash way to make them feel good about themselves, the other might criticize Disney for telling people what they want instead of surprising them, as they've always done, because its cheaper and they know people will eat it up. If what you wrote is indeed what you're implying--that it's nuts how true fans can't exercise their right to question Disney's motives -then I'm with you. Somehow I doubt that.

The ironic part is--we don't even know if the new addition IS a dance party.

I figured that's what it meant.

Some guests are entertained, some aren't. Either way, it's an opinion.

 OK you said, "Of course, I would have, if you had asked me to compare it to 1980/90s Disney, it would seem like a sell out cheap solution." Thanks for the chuckle.

Some people like Small World, some people hate it. There's some quote Lincoln had...I forget exactly how it goes. Maybe you can go ask him in DL. It went something like "You can't please all of the people all of the time"
