if you dream it you can do it

unless it costs money in this case
I'm afraid the money has always been the silent missing word in that phrase. "If you can dream it and have the money for it, you can do it.

I'm a little confused sometimes by the reactions some have. "No movement", etc.

These things don't happen over night. What do people want or expect from a rumors and news board? When news is out there, we usually hear about it ;)

I know we all have no patience but posting snarky posts (I know some posters are just having fun, not about them!) about not hearing anything just bumps the thread up and makes others think something was actually posted ;)

This thread was started in April (that's 4 months people, not four years). Do people expect them overnight? Are you all expecting a Disney announcement? You know there's a D23 next year, right? They have a blog that can drop an announcement anytime they feel like it.

Everyone needs to relax. When it happens, it happens.

If it gives some context, attractions can take 3-5 years to go from initial discussion to opening day. Full parks can be a decade or longer. Transportation and resort planning are long term also. Think about from when the gondola rumors initially came out to construction beginning.

Exactly. It seems posters who have been here for years should know 'the process'. Things take 3-5-7-10 years. It sucks but it's the reality. Like you said, look at things like the gondola rumors. Rumors usually start a year or so ahead of when things actually get going.

And with Martin suggesting the finishing of Epcot's spine is in 2023 ... I'd imagine we see some new monorails gliding past by then, or shortly after, maybe before, who knows?. But just a hunch. It'd be a nice way to "finish" the 50th and all of the other parks anniversaries by launching new monorails. That's what I mean when people need to think a little ahead. They likely have a gameplan. Doesn't mean they follow it ... lol

Have we reached the point in this thread where we are supposed to pop a window out to get some air in? We seem to have been stuck here for a while and even off-topic distractions are appreciated! lol
