Well, There is something else that had a good side.....Aaannn a bad side...
Nickelodeon I mean...Disney's Doug had a decent M&G character in the Studio

There are certain reasons why they should never do things like this...It's freaky...:hilarious:

Yeah it is a bit odd that they are only using them for promotions..But then, I can understand how many Mickey & Minnies their are being used in WDW compraed to the smaller parks..
Not to mention that they might have to create a brand new Mickey head that is also talking to guests at MK.

I can't believe that WDW is still using the old heads. Also, the mix between old and new makes it even worse. It's been a year since Shanghai opened and nearly six months since they debuted in California, Paris and Hong Kong. I thought six months would be enough time to produce enough heads for WDW...

It's not helping that the new heads outside of the Friendship Faire show are mostly used for promotional images and videos. At this point I'm feeling Tokyo Disneyland might get the heads next. Since Tokyo and WDW are the only parks left that hadn't fully rolled out the new heads yet.

I'm kind of disappointed in Disney. I too think they've had plenty of time to get all that they need but I'm sure they have their reasoning.

But I'm super anxious as well @brb1006 to see the new head in Fantasmic. I think it'll look fantastic

I feel like TDO is teasing us by using the new heads in promotional videos and photos for about most of the year so far.

It's very possible that is why we haven't seen the heads totally rolled out yet. Maybe they are wanting to get all of the promotional material updated first and then roll it out so there aren't any discrepancies. This is a hard sell but it's possible.

That didn't seem to be an issue when I went to Disneyland at the end of May. Despite the new heads being fully integrated at the parks, there were still a few pieces of merchandise (things like postcards and picture frames) that still had the old school heads on them.

I'm sure Disneyland will finally use the new heads in future merchandise.

I remember going to Florida as a kid in the 90s and so many postcards still used the old heads from the 80s. I always thought they looked so weird.
