Have you decided on a resort yet? Your choice should be influenced by what parks you plan to spend the majority of time at. Are you going Deluxe? Moderate? Value?

Yeah we plan to stay at the Contemporary! Thats a deluxe resort I believe?
I love the MK and thought that would be easy to just walk to. I have also heard great things about chef Mickeys.

Excellent choice! Yes indeed, it is deluxe. We stayed there 2 weeks ago, concierge level, awesome. We watched a space shuttle launch from our balcony, on Oct. 23rd. Just fantastic.
If you are interested in fine dining with a great fireworks view, the California Grill on the 15th floor (top) of the CR is wonderful. You are also just a quick monorail ride away from more good dining at both the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian. You can catch a scenic boat ride over to Ft. Wilderness or Wilderness Lodge from the boat dock behind the hotel.
You certainly could walk to the MK, but why not enjoy the monorail? Be sure to ask if you can ride with the driver.
