The new costumes look fine. Why do you want people to suffer while they’re at work?
No one working for Disney is “suffering” that’s just a hyperbole to gaslight those of us who know that Disney used to have QUALITY costumes and Cast Members. Ever since this whole “workers rights and comfort” movement began post “pandemic”, the overall quality of guest “service” has gone down.

Spin it and cry about it all you want but these changes are just another on the long list of garbage mistakes the company is making to appease a perpetually spoiled small but vocal minority.

The new men’s emporium costume (blue vest) is the one that really bothers me - it’s not really correct to the period - much like the new candy store itself - it’s more of a cartoon caricature of the time period.
The lady’s costume in the middle looks the best. The color of blue they used and those hideous grey pants are what throw off the mens look for me. It’s just mor proof that nobody at Disney has any clue about quality anymore, and we all know why.

agree, I mean all of this could be worse, but they are certainly going more bland every time. What bothers me most is all the women's have to have a tie now....really?? keep pushing that agenda Disney.

I mean I’m not crying about it. But if this does make cast a little more comfortable is that not a good thing? Maybe it is just a money saving exercise, maybe it’s both, to improve cast comfort and save money. Again I don’t think the new costumes look out of place or wrong in anyway. Granted I haven’t seen them in person, just a quick glance at the photo provided.

If levels of service have gone down I put that on the company to fix. One easy way to improve levels of service is to improve working conditions and pay.

yes but now every single one of the new ones do.
I mean, certainly Disney has an agenda, but I don't think it has seeped into the design choices for this particular costume refresh. Especially since there is no set women or men's costumes anymore, only version A and version B. They can wear whichever they please.
