You can put a positive spin on any budget cut if you want. When I mentioned the cuts in landscape I was told it’s better for the environment. Cuts to fireworks would also be better for the environment.

“Cast Comfort” is a funny spin for the company to take on this but obviously some are buying it so good job on the creativity.

I'm not understanding the sloppy criticism.
I wouldn't refer to any of them as sloppy.
Maybe the people making these comments are always “put together” and well-dressed. Maybe to them just about everyone else looks sloppy. Also, there are some people who criticize because it’s just what they do.

I agree with the “show” aspect of the CM costumes, but honestly I rarely notice what they’re wearing.

I’m not, but in the past WDW cast members were. Kinda like the difference between Delta, American, United and Southwest, Spirit, etc. - they all wear a “uniform” but the standards are very different.

It’s not a knock on the employees, it’s the business making that decision.

Maybe it’s me then. I probably wouldn’t notice the difference in dress. Behavior and attitude, sure, but not uniforms unless they were unusual.

You also don’t notice the 5 shades of white on the Grand Floridian. It’s about the details - they all add up to create an experience that sets Disney apart.

I'm not understanding the sloppy criticism. This picture shows people in motion, the clothing moves with the person. All types of body shapes here and clothing lays different on different body types.

I wouldn't refer to any of them as sloppy. They all look put together and time period appropriate.
Motion doesn’t create a bunch of excess fabric, particularly at the bottom of a pant leg or sleeve. Yes, a piece of clothing that is too big is going to sit differently but that’s the problem. That though is the problem. It’s not actually accounting for different body types. Patterns are just blown up instead of having the work done to adjust them for different body types.

Here's a new video Disney has shared showcasing the new costumes.

So these are only for the Emporium (I’m sure the other shops), the plaza restaurant, Starbucks and Plaza ice crea?. I’m guessing Tony’s, Casey’s Corner and Crystal Palace will either keep their costumes or will get different than what’s showed.

Wow we got complainers on the update of uniforms and we have on another thread blaming Iger for an impromptu celebrity appearance at Soarin’ in California Adventure. This place needs a cold beer or two on this Friday! I don’t like to call people losers but it sure seems like the mentality around here.

The most thoughtful response was a page back where it was stated if this stuff gets you so upset, you may need a break.

Someone was upset to see Puddy? That's bananas.
