OKay, trying to get back into this, this week is hectic for me, so I probably won't get that much done, so let's stay farily general for a while and we can work on the detials later.
I guess next up would be the HA qeue, I am thinking sort of like a dockish, maybey loading comapny theme, mixed with a turn of the century travel office firm, like they are a shipping company tyring torusim for the first time. That could inpart expalin the cannons, pirates would attack cargo vessles quite a bit understandably.
What ideas do you have?

Well, since part of the queue will be under the Hyperion, you can se the sights of loading the ship, boxes, vents, food storage, crew members (real) lifting boxes or walking aorund directing stuff. There could even be a small little stage towards the back of the Hyperion where there could be a small queue atmoshere show, and they could climb up stairs and into a storage facility with some desks thrown in there, etc. I really like these ideas. Have suitcases, and clothes strewn around, etc. - The WeirdOne

Sounds great theroetically
The only thing is that practically this seems like a waste of both human and monitary resources. I think the same effect can be pullies where the guiding force would be off stage, recorded voices yelling to one another and moving belts with boxes intermingled with a few AA's, this would be much more practically.
However if we are desiging this for your Austrilia park (in part) where money would not be an issue, then I say fine, we should still keep the above elemetns minus the AA's and put the CM's in there then.

All right, we will go with that then for the majority of the qeue winding past similar scenes every few cordoor, then for the preshow, I was thinking that the info speal could be given in the form spoofing an airline saftey speil....

And yes, Welcome Andy, any thoughts or sugestions you have or welcome, even though there are quite a few more members to SOJI than just WeirdOne and myself, we so far are the only two working on this project, so any input would be appreciated

Yes, I like the idea of the airline spoof spiel. Good idea! And glad to have another hand here in SOJI as many of us are busy with other things and also with only two people, ideas are limited. - The WeirdOne
P.S. - I suggest the preshow is like a pre-boarding spiel. You know, "Would all passengers in Row 1 please board now. I would just love to say that your trip will be wonderful here on "Hyperion Tours" and I hope you enjoy your stay. Row 2 please board now. Thank You. ETC."

Before your flight let me just remind you that on Hyperion Tours there is no eating or drinking so all food items should be dispensed before entering your flight also there is no flash photography and remember to keep your arms and legs inside the ship at all time, we wouldn't want to do anything to attract those rascals known as the air pirates but don't worry we haven't seen them in a very long time. In just a few moments your ship will be arriving so let me once again wish you a safe and wonderful flight from all of us here at Hyperion Tours.

Very good in my opinion, except, I would just like to make one suggestion...
"...at all times. In case of emergency, please stay calm and do not worry, you will be out really soon. In case of Air Pirate attack *microphone screech*. What was I saying? Oh yes, in just a few moments..."
I think that sounds a bit better and sortof gives the people a small sense of insecurity. LOLOL!
Let me make some other suggestions. In the background, after she is done, you hear a worker says something like "Frag-ile?! What's that mean Bob? I dunno. *crashing noise*" Or something to that effects sortof poking fun at the fact she was saying it's all secure and properly taken care of. Also, let's try not to trun this into another Superstar Limo, as that was also based on spoofs. Just a word of warning. - The WeirdOne

I really don't think that this would be abother SUperstar Limo, mearly the opening is spoffish the rest of the ride is an amazing sci-fi tale.
Ummmm I don't really understand your sugestion about the air pirate qute perhspse you could explain it again, I really don't get the part about "you'll be down soon". Also I really didn't want the air pirates to be too foreshadowded just like a mention of them but the claiming it won't happnen, ot that any emrgaency woudl happen period, so that it is more unexpected, I woudl rather have guests surprised then being insecure about goining on.

Okay, what I meant was like she was explaining about the air pirates when her microphone gets "hot". It makes that screeching noise. She then is like okay, back to what I was saying, no need to worry about pirates, etc. She sortof leaves the audience wondering, okay, what do we do in case of a pirate attack.
If that really doesn't work, then I'll be glad to come up with something different. I personally think the way you wrote the pirates segment in the spiel seemed to imply they are going to show up. I guess we need to misconstrue it more and hide it better. I also agree on having guests feel secure and not knowing of the impending attack. - The WeirdOne

Well I guess the best way to do it would be not to mention it at all, I was just trying to justify why there would be no flashphotography I guess I was getting a little to detailed in the tie in of the saftey speil.
How about we just leave the mention of the air pirates out and sort of incorperating what you had about incase of an emrgency then the people in the back ground drop the thing and temporatily the mic goes static then she comes back on and picks up where she thinks she left off but obvioulsy did not.

I think this would work better as a queu line speil since the whole "only sound" medium kinda adds suspense to it, if you could see what was going on it would loose some of the effect, and I really don't see the purpose as with the Great Contraption, there is nothing to expalin here, you are mearly going on a flight to veiw some senary, not really complicated.

Okay, well if you do end up agreeing with me I think this one is done too, as I think the beirf outline I gave as the ride will supliment well enough for the ride script as faras the guide goes really I think it woudl be nice if they add libed alot, to keep the ride orginality up, there would be a base script but then they would be alowed to go from there, and since tha base script would be a near direct dervative of the ride script I am not sure how important itwould be then, so if someone else wants to wirte it fine, but as far as my involvment goes I am done with this part
