New Land

I guess the easiest way to do this would have the unlevel surface as you are speeding away from h rushing waters behind you, then your headlights go-out and you do the barrel roll, at about midway through the inversion your lights could come back-on as you would no longer be able to see the track to be on the safe side we would just keep the lights off till you had landed, like the jolt fixed them, because there would be a slight possibility of if you strained during midway the inversion you could see the rest of the track in-front of you.

Well, the geyser drop, will simply be your car rolls into the geyser chamber and the are some rumblings, meanwhile a sandwich tray-like device hooks onto the back of your EMV (which I am actually thinking would be cool to make them AEMV's autonomous Enhanced motion vehicle and you gyros as safety measure to prevent tip overs) then a large stream of water is timed to shoot off and careful programed to always be about an inch or two below the raising platform which will be attached to a track in the wall behind you, as you are being shot up the 2nd tier of hydraulics will raise vertically seemingly un noticed so that when the geyser stream drops out from underneath you you can use the EMV free fall technology to simulate a vertical free fall drop after this your car unhooks from the sandwich platform only to move onto another platform this one below the car which hooks it into the track for the speed escape section then more rumblings so you take off to prevent another geyser attack and as you do the chamber explodes with water and a toroid of water is simulated to come after your car.

The drop sequence is shown with the platform and such, the hydraulic plate to give the free fall effect is also shown, at the very end of the drop the car moves forward a bit just so the back end of the platform can come back down as also shown

The water effect is a real geyser basically shooting up underneath the car but with a very big diameter so it can be seen as guests would look off to the sides and in from of them, also so when it goes down guests see themselves falling into it

I'll explain the chase section in more detail once I get it done

AWESOME! I like it! How about we implant each cave with different minerals/precious metals and they sparkle the whole caves with fiber optics and before enterting the gyser shaft, have the fiber optics glow in the shape of a hidden mcikey that disappears and WHOOSH! - The WeirdOne :D

Okay , well drawing a sketch of the "speed tunnel" would be rather hard due to the perspective, I will just give a general description:

Basically the initial part would be a straight blast off with the water rushing behind you (after you tunneled through the chamber wall after you were drooped by the geyser) then the tunnel hooks to the right and you make a banked turn on the wall then down the tunnel for a bit more then the tunnel hooks to the left and another banked turn on the wall, followed by another straight away the the unlevel part with the lights out and barrel roll then another series of straight aways and turns.

Oh, also the final plunge into the giant chasm the will be identical to the free-fall I posted earlier for the "forbidden Mountain" concept for the DAK E-Ticket Thread. The only difference will be that you will be taking a running start and it will be going down a slope when you do it, so the track that you ride down will be not as steep to first have you flying out a little bit and then free-falling down. Basically picture a car driving really fast off the end of a cliff and this is what you would get.

Well, unless anyone is unclear on the ride portion I guess the only thing left to describe is that once you hit the ground after your second free fall (the one off the cliff) you speed through another tunnel back to safety in the current mining base where you once again depart.

I guess up next is the queue

WierdOne any comments?

Chad, where'd you go?

Very good! I like. As for the queue, make it very interactive. Touch the rocks and they glitter. And a big cavern full of crystals and everyonce in a while, the crysals will put on a show. - The WeirdOne :D

Here is a basic outline of the queue, because of lifts in the ride it can be ground level,

So basically I was thinking first a series of just mine tunnels but no real signs of life that weave and curve than guests board large platforms, that simulate a large elevator moving downward, then guests meander though tunnels with all sort of mining equipment and there will be off tunnels with shadows moving about the walls mining and such and humming, lot's of mining noises, the guests slowly the caverns will become more and more filled with the glowing minerals as they move deeper, finally entering the large mineral room where the line will wrap and provide the show you spoke of, next guests would enter the pre-show rooms where they would see some like old time mining recruitment film as if this mining company just recruited them to help mine the mountain and this was their training film, then onto the ride :)

Well, I think we are also done with this one as-well

The next big thing would be JttCoE

I think we pretty much wanted to keep it the same except change the finale to being the big stormy sea dinosaur scene, right?

Anything else you would like to change?

Actually, I had the greatest idea for the finale after the monster, but before the drop. Gimme some time to draw it up and I'll post it. - The WeirdOne :D

Are you ever gonna post this idea? lol

Well besides this we just have 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea which I guess we could just clone from TDS, although I know you said there should be some changes, bring those up if you like

I will see if I can start to pull some-sort of a map together, and I guess we dropped the Time Machine kinda had problems with it anyways, we can just convert the space to either commercial.

Speaking of commercial I will work on the rest of shops and restraints for the area

Then we should be about done :)

Here is the map I compiled:

Shops

s1:The Expeditioner: serves as the gift shop for JttCoE and sells a verity of Disneybrand hiking/camping equipment

s2: Geyser Mountain Mining Equipment Supply: serves as the gift shop for GM aswell as carrying a variety of gems and minerals and a collection of Disney brand rock candy

s3: Hyperion Travel Bureau: just the HA gift shop

s4:Captain Nemo's Quarters: sells a selection of 20,000luts merchandise as well as a line of of packaged teas and such that are served in the Jules Verne Lounge

s5: Incredible Gadget Emporium: small gift shop for GC with a connected store filled with displays of incredible (but really pointless gadgets) also sells smaller real gadget like devices for home display (like a small machine where a marble drop after a series of processes eventually turns on a light etc)

Restaurants:

R1: Discovery Cavern Café

Moderately priced sit-down restaurant, serves Italian and AMerican cuisine

R2:The Jules Verne Lounge

Tea lounge serves other hot drinks and small delicacies and pastries

R3:The R.M.S. Hyperion Grill

upscale sit down Grillery

R4: The Exposition

A large counter-serves restaurant feature 5-6 different counters each with different menus and cuisines, themed like a turn of the century exposition

R5: Harbor Café

4 separate snack counters in one building, counter face exterior

Well, this is what I could come up with whatcha think?

Looks great! I just think this should relaly be like a Cape Cod type town with scientists sortof invading it and the local volcano. So move Discovery caverns back and built a town on the edge of the mountain and around the harbor. - The WeirdOne :D
