Building 2 NEW Dumbos makes perfect sense. One reason would be to let the old one run longer. Another is that it makes sense to upgrade the ride with better, smoother, more effecient and a more durable design. You could do all that and make it look the same. One more reason is that if you DON'T build two new Dumobs is that one ride will be somehow different from the other. People will "long for the original Dumbo that is clearly on the left." Others will say the "new one just isn't the same." Two new ones allows for a very, very similar ride as they will both be identical inside and out (any dueling rides have minute differences).

As for the old one staying in storage to be used later .... maybe Disney has more ideas than you give them credit for.

I can not see storing the Dumbo attraction and creating two new devices unless they are doing a significant change to the ride mechanism itself?

Well, it is fun to watch and listen to the changes while away from the world.

Maybe they're going for SUPER capacity with double size Dumbos (holding 4 in 2 rows). With two dueling Dumbos, each with double the capacity, you'd certainly have a Super Spinner.

DHS is the only park that does not have a spinning attraction. I see an UP! spinner in the future.

The roof is happening. We now have signs up backstage in Fantasyland that state (and I quote) "the teacups are getting a new roof", along with the dates it will be down.

It's funny that they're so candid about posting such a straight-forward informative sign to the CMs when there's so little information available to us, but I guess that's just the way it works

I don't fully know what the roof may look like, but if it is being made to fit in with the area, some of you may be disappointed.

Why? isn't it like the one in Disneyland Paris?
I really hope so, it looks great!

P.S. - I hope they didn't change it.. From the previous artwork (the first one they released) they show it like this:

It'd be great if we got that roof. I just don't get what Juan means by if it's making it fit into the area. I mean if it's forest-like, then shouldn't it have good theming.

They have one (of many possible) option of making the roof a certain way. If they make it that way, it will make the changes to FLE east more obvious.

Hmm, wait so you mean that we will be one step closer to knowing what the changes to FLE East after we see the roof for Alice?
