While I don't think it's in the cards, I think they can actually lengthen this show. Add in another movie or two. I don't know that I've ever had to wait for anything more than the current show to end, so why not make it a bit longer?

They're pretty unlikely to diminish the hourly capacity of a show whose satisfaction rate is high (it is, right?).

Fine with me if they make it longer, though.

With the Fantasyland Expansion, they can probably expand the show by 60-90 seconds decrease capacity by a handful of shows per day, and still meet demand.

Wouldn't that get a bit too crazy, having an attraction and a playground in front of each other?

Kinda. I don't know about a playground, but at one point the Pooh M&G was going to be located directly across the walkway from the attraction.

But at that time they were going to keep the tree over there, too. And, as it's looking now, that whole area is going to be different than we had anticipated.

I like the idea of the british hamlet that ties pooh to the tea cups.

That sounds wrong. :lookaroun

I talked to a CM at Dumbo today. Here's what I learned:

- Dumbo closes next summer. Dueling Dumbos will be totally new, the old one will not be recycled and will go into storage for future use.

- TTF starts closing in phases this winter after the holidays and will be totally gone by the end of next summer.

- Tea Party gets a lengthy three month refurb soon, followed by Snow White, and hopefully PhillarMagic. (Pan gets a refurb after NextGen is done, according to tirian.) No more changes to Pan facade.

- Pooh playground gets moved to infront of Pooh- the area under construction now.

That's all I remember. Don't forget the NaCl.

I wouldn't trust everything you hear from a CM. The CM rumors spread around pretty good also. Then a supervisor might tell them what he heard and then that starts another round of rumors that people think are facts. Then things get changed again at a higher level and sometimes it trickles down and sometimes it doesn't.

All that said was that pooh and shop were closing along with tea cups. It did not mention anything that I could see about them being refurbed, relocated, etc.

Well, why else would the Tea Cups close? Besides a refurb?

It's a pretty lengthy refurb as well. From September to November. Enough time for a roof? :D

It seems like the OP might have been right! I wonder if the other's are true.

Some of it was already posted here. And it is all consistent with the Staggs news. So now we have another fact piece for the FLE puzzle. Tea Cups are definitely not moving and the pooh playground will not be where indicated on the blueprints. So what is going in that spot? Hmmmm.

Well, the cups can still move. They may be getting them ready. They would need a new coat of paint to keep up with everything else. A simple refurb means nothing! I do wonder what will go in Pooh's spot, though! I am dying to know...

All of the information posted is from a Fantasyland ops CM. Whether or not you want to believe it is up to you, as some informaton was not correct (like a three month Tea Cups refurb as opposed to a month and a half one.) This could be due to me not remembering information correctly (I did not have a notebook on hand.)

That said, despite earlier reports saying it would not happen, it is my opinion that a new roof will happen (this is pure speculation based on the length of the refurb.)
