Is it really going on ebay or are you just fooling me? :) I would assume it would go into storage.

A lot of stuff ends up on eBay. It usually depends on who does the demo, and how "important" it is deemed to the archives. They obviously cannot save everything, so perhaps only the stuff that could be reused and rethemed to Mickey's new home where ever that may be.

Regarding juans post on the roof, circus tent perhaps? Tie it back into the new rumors about the Dumbo/circus mini land?

I've said it before and I will say it again...I am sooooo not happy about TTF not being around anymore!! Where is Mickey going to live? Minnie? Does anyone know what they are going to do with their houses? To me, it seemed like a staple....everyone looked forward to going there. The store there was great too. I know it is just merchandise and can easily be shuffled but it was a decent one. (Mouse Works and WoD are still the best.) The houses are what we really will miss.

I feel the exact same way! I'm a big fan of the "Fab 5" and I will dearly miss Toontown, ESPECIALLY Mickey's House and Minnie's House. I love the colorful exterior "squash and stretch" architecture. And I love the interiors with layers and layers of details, funny gags, and props inside that are just so cute, whimsical, and charming!

Who can forget Mickey's messy kitchen, being refurbed by Donald and Goofy!

Or the Ping Pong tournament in which Mickey has 25 points, Goofy 18, and poor Donald has 0!

And the multiple sets of identical clothes and shoes in Mickey's bedroom!

And the WACKY Radio played in Minnie's House, and her collection of paintings and mementos!

And her answering machine, featuring messages from Mickey and the gang, including one from Donald where he loses his temper!

And her cheese-filled refrigerator, and cute plants with punny, funny, names!

And the cute chickens that get alarmed everytime Goofy's Multiflex Octoplane crashes through his barn!

I'm a big fan of classic Disney music and will also really miss the Toontown music loop which features classic songs and scores from the Silly Symphony and character shorts (such as "Funny Little Bunnies", "The Country Cousin". "Who's Afraid Of the Big Bad Wolf", and "Steamboat Willie"!)

It's a little late, but I wish they would change their plans and

SAVE MICKEY'S TOONTOWN FAIR!

I'd personally prefer to see the whole Dumboland idea tossed out, and instead see a new revised version of Toontown keeping Mickey and Minnie's houses and meet and greets, the Barnstormer as is, and maybe just add Dumbo to that area, as well as say, another smaller dark ride based around whoever...Ducktales, Roger Rabbit, the Disney Afternoon, just something other than the Circus.

This post alone makes me miss TTF, and I'm not even a big fan.

I love Funny Little Bunnies :(

Aw, thanks! :)

"Funny Little Bunnies" is one of my favorite Silly Symphonies! (probably in my Top 3 with "The Ugly Duckling" (color version) and "The Old Mill".)

For those who haven't seen it, it's the only Disney Easter short ever made and has an addictively catchy theme song and is cuter than buttons! Can it get any cuter than this?

New Roof Idea

I realize this is way out there and probably will NEVER happen but I'll share anyways. What I ( the Wonderland fangirl) would like to see the new roof look like is kind of a cross between the roof of the White Rabbit's house (http://magicalscreencaps.com/images/aliceinwonderland/gall/alice161.jpg) and the inside roof of Merlin's first house (http://magicalscreencaps.com/images/swordinthestone/gall/swordinthestone_023.jpg) Although I would have the inside be a bit more elaborate. I think it would be amazing if the inside had a woven branch feel to it:

The branches would look more like this:

Obviously, they would keep the awesome tea party lanterns and I would also add some whimsical flowers amongst the branches.
So like I said, this will never happen but hey, a girl can dream right? :D

Wonder if the roof will have Tim Burton accents, as per the live-action Alice movie? Frankly, I've been waiting for that movie's success to influence the parks, for better or for worse...

I am gonna preface this with the fact that I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I don't claim to know what is in store and these are my own thoughts.

I would like to see the FLE impact more than just the MK. There are "failing" attractions at other parks that could make way for "favorites" just needing to be moved. I could see the FLE having a direct impact on DHS. The Pixar Place section of the park could definitely make a transition for TTF by eliminating Playhouse Disney. (Is "Little Einsteins" on the air?)

As far as juan's comments for roofing hinting toward the possible FLE East. If the roof were changed to Pixar related, the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway, could EASILY be rethemed into Radiator Springs-esque CARS theme. I don't know what other Pixar movies would be used in the rest of the area. A Bug's Life, Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc. and the Toy Story franchise have already been used/rumored to be used locally and in other parks. I don't know what kind of an attraction that could be made for the likes of the Incredibles, Rattatouile, Up, or WALL-E.

I guess the information we have now we didn't have back when this thread was started... but since someone was so nice as to bump...

I'm saying a circus tent roof...
