Your cryptic remarks in the other thread were bad enough, but this just takes it out of the ball park.

My only concern is: will they still be wonderland themed? Will the ride still be called the Mad Tea Party?

My guess is yes.

I would assume it would still stay wonderland themed.

The ride will be staying wonderland themed.

All I was saying and wasn't trying to be cryptic was that the roof most likely will stay the same. It could change slightly and if it does, one of the options may give the area theme away.

Option A: Roof stays the same, nothing given away
Option B: Roof stays wonderland but different, gives nothing away
Option C: Changes to foresty theme, nothing given away
Option D: Something else, may give area theme away

That being said, A & B are very likely. D is far less likely but could provide some insight.

If option A is the case, why are they bothering to close the ride at all? What else could they be doing that would require a month and a half refurbishment?

I talked to a CM at Dumbo today. Here's what I learned:

- Dumbo closes next summer. Dueling Dumbos will be totally new, the old one will not be recycled and will go into storage for future use.

- TTF starts closing in phases this winter after the holidays and will be totally gone by the end of next summer.

- Tea Party gets a lengthy three month refurb soon, followed by Snow White, and hopefully PhillarMagic. (Pan gets a refurb after NextGen is done, according to tirian.) No more changes to Pan facade.

- Pooh playground gets moved to infront of Pooh- the area under construction now.

That's all I remember. Don't forget the NaCl.

Sounds good. Just wish TTF was staying around for longer. I'm planning on going next October and was hoping to see it one last time.

Could it be traditional Alice vs. Burton's Alice.

I'm thinking they'll repaint and change the old 70s designs of the teacups and in turn they will do the same with the roof. So basically a repainting and redesign.

Honestly, I just think it will be a traditional rehab. You never know but still...and it seems like WDW has been give short notices for a while now. See last year's LWTL. So the timeframe doesn't mean anything either. I am betting some new paint and bulbs.

I've said it before and I will say it again...I am sooooo not happy about TTF not being around anymore!! Where is Mickey going to live? Minnie? Does anyone know what they are going to do with their houses? To me, it seemed like a staple....everyone looked forward to going there. The store there was great too. I know it is just merchandise and can easily be shuffled but it was a decent one. (Mouse Works and WoD are still the best.) The houses are what we really will miss.

the houses are cool and all, but people had just accepted that Mickey, Minnie and the gang lived at WDW during the ~20 years WDW was open before toontown opened (I guess it was birthdayland first). Disneyland went 35+ years w/o Toontown. We'll just assume Mickey and Minnie are going to go back to being stored in cages in TDO at night...along with all of the other animal characters who have never had an actual house on property. Hopefully, they at least bring back the giant hamster wheels for them.

I'm going in September and hope to see Toontown closed and seeing some vertical construction along with some intense Winnie the Pooh refurbs! Lol.

Maybe September 2011, because I think that Toontown is going to stay until next year, or so I've heard somewhere....
but Winnie the Pooh's refurb will surely be well underway by September
