New Images From Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland!

The pics are amazing. Burton is really an...interesting guy.

But, these pics are all over the news websites garnering some significant interest. Considering it is due in March, the early interest is hopefully a great sign.

Plus, I mean, Johnny Depp...the guy is unreal and I cannot wait to see what he does with Mad Hatter. I just hope the movie is not as crazy as the re-done Willie Wonker...that was just too over-the-top with no story.

I am also interested to see more about A Christmas Carol coming this Winter. Jim Carrey is another one who can play almost anything.

did anyone really expect anything less from Burton?:ROFLOL: I mean, you have an already crazy story which is Alice in Wonderland, then you give a crazy director control, obviously things are going to be a little "out there"

i for one, am excited to see this new rendition of a classic tale

Let's see how scary the movie gets before we ask for a ride! :) No I think Tim Burton will be true to the dark side of Lewis Carroll, we'll just have to wait and see. But I agree that the remake of Willy Wonka did go off the original story line a bit.

i like that he(burton) didnt stick strictly to the original movie and picked up a lot of things the book talks about.

im expecting the same for this movie, more book based than anything else

I love Tim Burton and Johnny Depp is the best actor out there - hands down. Can't wait to see what another of their collaborations brings!

I do have to admit that picture of JD as the Mad Hatter is more than a little bit terrifying. Wouldn't want that picture hanging on my wall when I go to bed at night! :ROFLOL:

I read that the red queen will have a moat around her castle, filled with bobbing heads. :sohappy:
It was ether USA today or CNN that stated that.

Plus, from what I have read, this movie takes place ten years after the incidents in the first movie and Alice does not have any memory of her last trip there.

So, it is like a sequel I guess. Looking forward to it.

I was wondering how they were going to have the hatter be an major character if they stayed with the original story. Makes sense.

I would really like to see Disney give Burton some more "classics" to make live action out of. Talk about fodder for dark rides. Can you imagine a Burtonesque Snow White or Sleeping Beauty?

Whoa, those pics were kinda creepy. This should be an interesting movie indeed, plus it has what appears to be a great cast.
